    It's a good one. An XD4000 can probably fill a 10 gallon tank to 200psi in under 30 seconds. The last 12v compressor you will ever buy.

    Just got it and have only used it twice but it’s way better than I expected.
    If I planned to air up and air Down frequently I would go with an ARB but for my needs this works great and you can’t beat it for the price. It’s now called the super flow MV-50...

    I have had the Smittybilt for several years now and have really liked it. I didn’t have it mounted though. It is damn quick, maybe 2-3minutes per tire, pumping up six 33” tires from 15lbs to 45lbs. (Used on my 4runner and overland trailer). It did get damn hot, so I hated putting it away afterwards.

    Personally, considering the heat in the engine bay, I plan to spend the extra dollars and get the arb mounted up for the tundra.

    I bit the bullet and went with a barely used Powertank kit I found on craigslist this morning. 2 5lb tanks and bunch of accessories for 5 bills. Dont have to worry about power, time, overheating or breaking!

    Right now, CO2 is probably your best bet for inflation, granted you have a place that can fill it. You're in Corona, so there's no shortage of stores that can fill that. You will not be disappointed.

    The Oasis compressors are VERY high quality and support is superb; the price reflects both.

    True on all points. The powertank won me over with the portability and versatility. The speed is huge too as I have little kids that tend to get impatient. The oasis was nice but I dont think I'm at the level yet to warrant the cost, plus mounting and such. I plan on eventually getting deeper into overlanding so at that point I think it would make more sense. Plus as you stated, theres a ton of places near me that refill.

    I'm planning on going DIY C02 myself. I would buy PowerTank, but I have a Twitch channel to run, so I like extended projects that have a lot of talking. You'll love the PowerTank. There's no electrical systems that can fail, no oil to monitor, no filters to change. Aside from a regulator, 100% reliability on your air source. Just mind those accessories like hoses, chucks and, connectors.

    Will you be running lines for hands free inflation? That's my plan. Run a line from the tank to a manifold under the truck, then from the manifold to a QDC at each tire. A whip will go from the QDCs to a locking chuck. A regulator set to the desired tire pressure before the manifold should allow for hands free inflation. Probably gotta be quick about connecting and disconnecting everything though.

    Initially no manifold. Just gonna play around with it manually for a bit and get a feel for it and figure out what/how I wanna do it. I will eventually go that route I assume. The reliability is definitely one of the big draws to this. Only need to monitor the fluid levels of the tanks.

    The high output ARB is under 400 and it’s an awesome compressor. Have one on my wrangler for 6 years with zero issues.

    It’s a 10# tank from Preece Precision on Amazon.

    Brackets are actually Rago Fabrication mounting board brackets I got from a forum member here. The holes fit the PowerTank bracket so I used it to mount my tank.

    Too many, but not enough....
    I use the ARB single compressor that comes in the box. Its nice since you can put all the hoses and attachments and such in the box with it. It was cheaper than the twin compressor and I really didnt want to mount it in the engine bay as its already quite busy in there with the switch pro and plus, the constant vibration with the driving just didnt sit well with me and the longevity of a 600 dollar compressor plus mounting. With the box, i can simply take it out when im not really out of the city and everything stays together.

    I also use a powertank setup as well for speed mostly and hot days when the compressor would take a long time to cool off.

    None to day....that’s why I’m here.
    I am looking at a hard mount option and have narrowed it down between the ARB single and the TMJ vehicle mount one. Viair 400h-a was more money for less cfm then the other two. TMJ is the cheapest by a little ($30-40).

    Any experience with the TMJ hard mount or arb high performance? Which would you get and why?

    Magnuson 2650 w/76mm pulley, ADS suspension, 35's, misc overlanding bro-trophies
    I use a 10lb CO2 tank with a fixed 150 psi regulator. Under $200 for everything from Amazon and $20 to fill at the local scuba shop. Fills four 35's plus two 31" trailer tires in under 5 minutes. Gets 6+ fill ups per tank. High pressure is nice for blowing dust off of gear with an air chuck too. Mounted it in the bed with some jumbo quick fists and can reach all 6 tires without removing it. Carry a cheap viair for backup.

    I have one of these as well. I love it. Only complaint is it gets real
    Hot and one of the feet snapped off. Other than that been using the same one for two years no issues. I got the largest one and it was about 100 dollars. Also came with a nice bag to store everything.
