2014-2021 Front/Rear Anytime Camera Mod - FRAC Harness

Seems like it would be a good idea to have a camera that could tilt up and down for on-road/off-road use. I think someone has tried the Natika license plate camera (link below). Does anyone else have an adjustable-tilt camera or solution? If so, do you ever change the tilt?

Looks like this Natika camera that people have used also has the ability to tilt and is higher resolution. Is anyone using the tilt feature after install?

Fortunately, after contacting the manufacturer for a replacement camera without the cables, this outstanding company is going to replace the camera free of charge, under warranty.

This is why I recommend the NATIKA camera. Great quality (normally), great price, and great customer service.

 

Absolutely.
Even after that impact the camera still worked.
They exchanged without hesitation.

Looks like it should work just fine. The specs say it has a "Standard video connector can connect to any screen or video input." The FRAC harness accepts standard video inputs.

Installed my FRAC today with the Natika camera... I've got a TRD PRO and the pre-collision sensor is a bit of a challenge to mount by. What are the best TRD PRO mounting options.... The camera post prevents me from moving it any more forward. I used mending braces to mount off the two pre-collision bolts. Looking for better ideas that bring the camera forward.

I installed mine on the lower valance; worked great there

 

Every man in his life comes to the point and must decide to go high or go low - but I digress. I would try mounting above the TSS between the Y and O just below the top row.

 

I finally got my FRAC installed with the Natika camera. My TRD Sport version has no open switch blanks, so I need to mount them under the ledge. The insulated connectors that came on the kit are too tall to allow the panel to push in. I'm going to get some 90 degree connectors and see if it clears. It works well, but I can't button it up yet.

 

I trimmed the cross brace plastic to allow enough depth to push in the dash.

 

I am waiting for TundraTex to source a new switch to add before finishing my FRAC project.

That's the one I bought!

 

The "Flag Spade Connectors" worked perfectly. My switches are setup and I put all of the panels back.

 

I swapped out the spade connectors with 90 degree spades and it fit with no trouble

 

Installed the Front/Rear Anytime Camera (FRAC) harness. Used the same setup as @Tchase . Also added the AJT Design climate control blackout rings while I had the dash apart. Sorry for the poor quality images. Phone camera/display artifacts. Image on screen is clear.

15 degrees down shows the bumper edges. I can see objects within about 4 inches of the bumper at the break point on the bumper.

 

OK. How do you put text between the pictures... Thought I had done that but all the text was above the pictures.

 

Just hit edit, click on a picture then hit the space bar.
It should give a space in between pics.
Type away.

Yes. The FRAC harness is compatible with all 2014 or newer Tundras, Tacoma’s, 4Runners, and Sequoias. Also other select Toyota vehicles that have the same Entune Head Unit.
