Make this a 2nd vote for blue. I keep both the liquid and the stick around. I don't like using more aggressive stuff like red on anything. Blue is similar to painting things shut and actually helps prevent bolt freezing due to corrosion bonding.

It is impossible for me to listen to that man's voice for more than a few minutes. I feel for the owner of that truck but it's clear he didn't check the frame when he bought it and he didn't do anything to protect it further. He's SOL.

That guys voice is big cringe. If he wants to be such a smart aleck to go bashing Toyota for salty roads maybe you should have looked at the frame before you bought it.

By the way I am looking at getting the ICON progressive add a leaf. Anyone have trouble with these or do you like them? @empty_lord

I'm not bothered by Scotty's voice, and his content is typically spot-on correct.

As for the Tundra in question, it sounds like a dealer told the owner the frame had been coated and there was nothing to worry about. Maybe the dealer coated over rust, thus making it worse.

You mean I'm not the only one who can't stand Scotty videos?:eek2: I don't care how good (or bad) the info is, if it's presentation is insufferable I'm out. I automatically close and thumbs down robo-reader videos too. Maybe I'm just a jerk. :notsure:

I wouldn't recommend these. If you are hell-bent on going the AAL route, go with Wheelers. They seem to have better reviews. I followed ICON's instructions, removed the overload spring, and got ZERO lift. It did help it ride slightly better though. If I had known this, I would have just spent more to replace my leaf packs.

I had to laugh when I watched his dielectric grease video, adding half a tube inside of a connection and telling people it helps conduct electricity.......

    Check out orange instead.

I used red on mine, but orange is different than blue or red (I know, duh). It maintains it's hold as the bolt loosens, whereas blue/red only prevent break-free. It also does not require heat to remove, like blue.

@shifty` since we were talking about little euro cars, check out this little thing. @chrisb you might like it too. These run the VW/Audi 1.8T motor but it's the size and weight of a Polo.

Not necessarily. The way that tundra is rusting at the bottom of the frame rail is similar to mine where it’s most likely rusting from the inside out.

They spray a wax like coating inside but all it seems to do is trap moisture and accelerate the process.
