I have a 2016 tundra tss off road. I found this button. Don't know what it does. Does anyone know what this is for?

 

To calibrate TPS?

 

Thats the tire pressure sensors. Not sure how to use it tho

Almost 100% sure that's the TPMS reset button.

What about the 2nd picture? Sounds like a trailer brake controller but almost looks factory. Toyota offered that?

 

Turbo boost

 

You press and hold it until the TPMS light blinks 3 times.
I use it when I air down when I'm driving on sand to get rid of the warning, then again when I air back up.

 

Set all the tires at the minimum PSI you want before the light turns on. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds the TPMS light on the dash blinks three times and it's set for that PSI.

 

Relearn Procedure when Resetting the Tire Pressure or after Rotating the Tires.

1. Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard.
2. Apply the parking brake and turn the ignition to ON position with the engine OFF (not the ACC position).
3. Hold down pressure warning reset switch (located under the steering wheel or in glove box) until the TPMS telltale light blinks three (3) times.
4. It will take several minutes for the ECU to receive the signals from the sensors and complete initialization.

 

Wrong, it's NOS!! Careful though, your floor pan might fall off when you press/use it lol.

Ive been jammin on mine trying to make my tires into 295’s. Must be broke, I will ohm the switch out in the morning.

 

Nice! Changing spring rates actually allows cucumber usage. We need a build thread for this.
