Can I get some info on this? I have Prinsu and want to wire it and have debated options. Coming between the power and the bed or from the topper?

Looks rad and is exactly what I’m looking to do

Thank you...Toytec Aluma 2.5 Coilovers, 2.0 Aluma rears with AAL...diff drop. 3” front 1” rear with drivers side shims for the 1/2. Drives great. Switched from 33” Nittos to 35” Wildpeaks. Haven’t had Wildpeaks on any of my prior Toyota’s so I wanted to try them out. Got em cheap as hell so I couldn’t pass up. So far so good.

I thought I saw red in there. I have the same, although I went with their rear shackle at 1.5"

Why do I feel like I’ve hit the lottery when I see 12mpg? While running 35-12.50’s & 20x10’s. & 4.5” of lift. I’ll take it.

The thin ones would look really good on your truck I think!

I did something similar and ran power from the OEM cargo lights using some 921 leads. Not sure I would want to run a lot of lights off of the way I did it though. My plan is in a dead thread here and the outcome and some pics are toward the end of my roof rack thread here

EDIT, oh wait youve already seen that :D nvm

Haha, I was the last one to respond on that thread! You put in the switches..I asked about those. I’m looking into the side lighting mainly. When I get my ice fishing stuff or snowmobiles ready I do it in the dark..off the side of the road. This would solve alotta problems!

I would want to be able to lock the center diff. Huge difference in the snow/ice or off-road.

I was going to share @junior post on his diy rack, but then saw you already were on that thread. My wiring is a bit different. I mounted 6 switches where the sunglasses holder is. Made a relay/fuse box under the hood for all the lights and use that as my only power distribution. If you want just PM me and I’ll go into more detail.

Just curious why you went with shim on the drivers side instead of just adjusting the coil over 1/4” more on that side?

    At 3” the
I had the lean in the front and rear..but at 3” on the front I didn’t want to go over that..toytec recommended shimming. If I would have went 2-2.5” the Coilover would have been the answer.

IMO it's much better now on snow and ice, the traction is always there when I need it and doesn't have the understeer or binding that's present in 4wd. For any real offroading then I definitely would want to lock the center diff but it's a street truck so that's not a concern for my usage.

I've heard about this with the second gen using a sequoia TC but nothing 14 and latter. Very cool and looking forward to the swap thread. Our other daily / family hauler is the v8 4Runner and the full time 4WD is so nice.

Took it to the dealer for an oil change, tire rotation and balance. Bought a metal oil filter housing for then to install so it's easier for me to do oil changes in the future. Will be back tomorrow since I have steering wheel shakes, I pull to the right, and currently dripping oil.... if I didn't have to work I would have gone straight back. They already ate the cost of the service so I'm only out time and gas but I'm still annoyed.

Do you spray heavy coats? I've found spraying more light coats seems to work pretty well.
