    Its a 22in weber kettle,
I use charcoal for the heat and wood chunks for the smoke/flavor,
I use the minon method and vents to control the burn and this ran from around 8:30am till I pulled it off around 4pm without adding more fuel
If I did need to add fuel this weber has the grate that two sides flip up allowing you to add fuel if needed.

What the heck is a minon method? Please educate me.

The critters I eat eat vegte
Basicly you set a amount of unlit charcoal where you want it then take a small amount, about a dozen or so, of lit charcoal and place them on top of the unlit charcoal
Set your vents to bring the grill/smoker to temp

Looks delicious! In Texas, barbecue can be both a noun and a verb. Just saying... :)

Won't the lit charcoal eventually light the new stuff underneath then it's all going at once? Where do you put the wood chunks for this? I cheat and just have a smoker

It all burns down. As new coals are being lit already lit coals are burning out.
I put the wood chunks in several places on the charcoal.
Meat only takes smoke for a few hours after that you really only need steady heat

I spent all day yesterday rearranging my storage unit and dug out my Weber 22" kettle that I've never used. YET... Bought it 18 months ago. Opened up the box to make sure everything was there. Definitely going to be using it soon.
