    The contenders are:
    • Edmonton Elk
    • Edmonton Evergolds
    • Edmonton Eclipse
    • Edmonton Eagles
    • Edmonton Elements
    • Edmonton Elkhounds

Those are about as inspiring as Leduc.

I liked the drop down for the "country" Are they expecting many Americans to vote? o_O

    Those are some awful choices.

    And Evergreens.

I think Elkhounds is the only one I don't hate.

When they sent out the first survey asking for name suggestions, I said to keep Eskimos and find a new sponsor who would actually listen to the Inuit community surveys that said they're fine with that name.

Yup. Honestly. I guess native people are now deemed unworthy to be honoured with the name of a sports team? It's not like Eskimos is a pejorative name. I'd now suggest the Edmonton whinging snowflakes as the only logical replacement. The mascot can by a crying millennial.

Took my 2019 into Toyota today after difficulty starting the last few weeks. A bit of back and forth chatter due to aftermarket mods (remote start, pedal commander, roof mount dvd) but they replaced the battery under warranty. I was expecting excuses by them Due To the extreme cold here in Alberta But I’m glad with the positive outcome

I shoveled earlier this morning. Not much snow but enough that I wanted to keep it clean. It was noticeably colder today at -31C without the wind.

The Tundra has been my unheated garage with a cozy battery tender running for the past week. The new Noco charger that I picked up seems to work well to take care of an AGM.

My tundra was at my shop when I left for work. I didn’t have it plugged in. (was nice weather when I left)
So after a week of cold freaking wether I come home yesterday and I couldn’t believe she started! on a oem battery too.
Next week looks better for weather! :fingerscrossed:

You need to teach the goat to lift its leg when it farts.

I'm glad to be back in Victoria after -40 in Edmonton. I don't mind a bit of rain when it's +10

Snow is melting fast here in GP. Supposed to cool off with a chance of flurries for a night or two this week but the long range forecast isn't showing many day temps below -5. Things are warming up for sure. I ain't counting chickens though. March will give us another cold snap, I just know it.
