    Hello,
I am new to this forum but was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on upgrading the halogen headlight bulbs to LED or HID bulbs. I have the LED running lights on my 2020 SR5 but have halogen hi/lo’s and fog lamps. I can’t see paying over 1,000$ for the LED housing upgrade so was wondering if you guys had any suggestions or if there are other posts that could help guide me in the right direction. Thanks, I appreciate the assistance.

    Alot of them
You can get the OEM led headlights along with the ihacker harness. Some of us run Morimoto XB leds. Don't put an HID kit in the stock housings. Those cheap drop in kits seem to have fallen off the radar.

    Welcome dude!
Lots of threads on this topic. You can upgrade the halogen bulbs with auxbeam leds for a cheap temporary solution. Like 35 bucks.
Factory LED headlights will run you like 600.00 from cool springs Toyota.
I have the Auxlights and they are much better than stock, but not at all as good as factory LED’s. Hope that helps!

Is this a good idea to do in the halogen housing? Usually anything but halogens just blind everyone unless its behind a projector. Been awhile since I've looked into the different lighting options nowadays.

    More than a few.....
Welcome from SoCal. I plan on saving up for factory LED headlights. If you want a quick upgrade you can do the factory LED fogs for now which are drop in without a harness.

I have a 2020 SR5, upgraded to LED light bulbs and the fog lights. They look good and bright, better than factory halogen lights. You can get them all from Amazon less than $100, plug and play, no adjustment needed.

I just put the morimoto 2 stroke 3.0 bulbs in. I originally had the factory halogens, swapped them out for some aux beams and most recently took the aux beams out and replaced with the morimotos. Here’s a before and after for reference. First photo is the aux beams on low and the second is the 3.0’s on low. Highly recommend the 3.0’s

Amazon says these don’t fit the 2020 or the 2021 Tundra.

Nope. It's either TRD Pro headlights if you want reflector style or Morimoto XB's if you want projector style.
