the fact i have to hook up the remote functions is why i keep holding back.. i did talk to n2 designs about getting one of their setups working that uses the factory fob.. but theyre too busy at the moment to look into it.. hopefully in the future they will.

Correct, relay coil trigger doesn't care which side gets +/-. It's an electromagnet.

No need for the white/black as a ground. The only ground for the relay necessary is for the relay coil to trigger which comes from the alarm itself.

I'm going to try the other diagram. Basically all that diagram does is break the detection wire connection when the locks are activated. That's why the relay used is a 5 pin relay. Both sides of the detection wire are tied to posts 30/87a. This way, when the relay is at rest, the detection circuit is normal since 87a is a normally closed pin on the 5 pin relays. When the unlock command is received, the negative signal, grounds out the relay and cuts the detection circuit by switching 87a to 87 to which nothing is connected.

    Holding back from?

RC/AC are easier than a DC to wire locks into an alarm.

i prefer to use the original fob not to mention the horrible experience ive had with remote start control boxes shitting the bed and leaving me with tearing out the module to get my fathers truck started

Just pulled the adjustment plates off the pass side. I see why I couldn't get an alignment now.

Both cam sleeve ends broke off inside the plate.

Worth a shot. It is a simpler setup. Always good to follow the k.i.s.s. principal.

You may also need to check the programmed lock/unlock pulse duration. Maybe it's super short and the relay isn't triggering fast enough (like .2 sec, when over .5 sec would work).

    Good luck.

I'm seized in blue, and if I got anymore I'll round off the brake tube fitting.

    I'm not seized in red.

I suppose I could replace this whole little section of tube.

    Anyone have a link?

Edit: never mind. I forgot I had map gas handy. Little heat, and wiggle.

One a more positive note, Krud Kutter, which I purchased at my local Big Blue box store, does an excellent job of cleaning grease stains. Sprayed directly on the seat cover, let it sit about 20 seconds, then scrubbed with a microfiber towel. Stain is mostly gone. Nice!

Glad you got it off! I had the same problem and just replaced the lines, the hard lines are only $8 each.

It sounds like you already got it, but are you using flare nut wrenches? It will help avoid rounding the soft metal.

Yes. Flares on the brake lines. I did get it. Still tried to round before I put some heat on it.

    Finally had some time to:
    1. Change the front differential oil. Was quite dark.
    2. Tranny drain and fill. (second drain/fill since I have owned the truck)
    3. Adjust the front/rear brake bias a bit more.
    4. Spray the undercarriage with fluid fill. Virtually no rust as it was/is a CA/AZ truck.

I work in gravel as well so I commend you. I can’t see further down your frame, but I always throw the tire I removed under the truck under the frame rail for one of those just in case moments. I use steel plates under my jack stands because they sink strangely and make me nervous. Then once I’m solid, I give her lots of shakes and pushes to make sure she’s solid on the stands. I’m sure the tire makes a good seat for working from, but so does a milk crate

It is a fantastic seat. I have two jack stands for the steering rack (that i have no idea how im gonna put back on by myself...) and two under the frame that are sitting on concrete papers 4 inches thick.

I'm too heavy for milk crates...

    Buckets sit too high...

    I have a small success.

Your dirty hand reminds me of the one day I worked in the mine with Pops. I could not handle my hands getting so dirty like that. Had to use Gojo with Pumice and that ruined my hands for a few days! The Lanolin wasn’t so bad as its Aú Naturél.
