Nice looking rig. Love the black Method wheels against the white Super White paint! Now go enjoy your rig without worrying about breaking it!!

    Hi guys,

Don’t know if I’m going crazy, but after I had my method wheels installed, looks like my rear right passenger tire sticks out more than my rear left. It’s driving me crazy. I’ve looked at it like a million times.

Yes alignment was done to the front of the truck. It’s the rear right that appears to be Sticking out about 1/2” more than rest left?

Adam, just seen you post man. Haha thank you so much for your input. Yeah, I’ve been driving it like I don’t even have the lift on there and it actually feels great!

My tires hit my body mount and it’s freaking annoying!!

That's just how the truck is built. Search it up on here. Has nothing to do with your wheels you are just noticing now that you've been eying the wheels.

You could try the 1/4 inch spacers on 3 wheels as posted in the linked thread but Id suggest leaving good enough alone.

I agree, and good point about comparing differing views between forums. I’m of the opinion that the angle is aggressive as well. It’s not just the boot fins, though. At those angles, there’s also the added stress on the CV axle itself when in 4WD and gunning it with the wheel turned. I’m guessing tie rod angles may also add to steering rack wear.

Still, many folks on here run 3” lifts up front with no problems.

Leased my truck and did everything to it. I just refinanced it right before the lease was up I never turned it in. But if you plan on turning it in keep the stock parts so you can swap it back.

I would agree with you, but got an earful on Tacoworld once about that logic. Afterward I found that I agreed with them. I have seen people torch axles with the wheel turned full droop combo, but apparently its not so common on the Tacomas or Tundras. After lengthy discussion with a couple guys that wheel quite often and hard, it seems like the boots are the main issue when it comes to failure. Most of those guys would even drive 1000s of miles on a failed boot as well. Seemed crazy but even shops were saying the same thing. I guess now I just worry less and trust in their personal experience. YMMV
