I'm getting ready to make a change on my wheel/tire setup and I cannot for the life of me make up my mind. Currently have 20" fuels with +1 offset on 305/55r20 leveled at 1.9 with 6112's.
Im wanting to run a 295 width tire. First thought is 295/60r20 but with my offset I'm not sure they'll fit without having to chop the cap mount. If I'd just need to move the fender liners or shim the front bumper I'd go that route as it's the easiest.

My next thought is drop to 17's with a 0 offset and run 295/70r17's. Same height as my 305's so no rubbing to worry about and will fit flush with my flares.

My last thought, thanks to the 295 thread, is to get a 25-30 offset 18" wheel, and run 295/70r18's.

So help me out, which way would you go?

Do you use your truck off-road? If so, switch over to the 17"

Personally I would go with 18s. 17s can have caliper clearance issues. 18s are great off road and on and there is a good number of tires available in many sizes and loads. 20s- dislike them. I dont like how they ride and think more tire vs rim looks better too.

Just curious, what's wrong with the wheel/tire setup you have now? Why do you want to change to 295 width tire?

There's nothing wrong with the setup I have now. It's just time for tires and and the 305s look too wide for my liking at 33". Almost like skateboard wheels.
35's look good but that's not an option at my lift height

Ok. I understand. I have 20x9 +18 with LT305/55/R20 on my Tundra now. I like the way it looks but I have considered maybe going with 18x9 with 295/70/18 in the future. I also have 20x9 +50 with LT295/55/R20 on my Sequoia, it fits and looks great.

The +18 makes a difference. My stance is pretty wide with the +1. I'm running flares so it helps alot but a little more height to fill out the wheel well looks better imo.
Im starting to lean more towards going 18's with 295's the more I look at pictures posted here
