How do you like the Wheeler's AAL? Did it give you an inch of lift as they claim?

I’m on 285/75 on stock wheels, no spacers, no rubbing.

5100s middle setting, truck was dead level. Added a 1” lift in the rear to regain the “truck” rake I prefer.

I trimmed about 3” off each side of the skidplate as a precautionary action, it was close but did not hit.

I already had all of my mudflaps removed, so I can not comment on rubbing with that.

    Clears the UCA about 3/4”

Yea it did, I have a full decked system so it’s just over factory height so it got rid of the sag from the weight and gave me just a little. You do have to purchase a new u bolt kit to install it though.

With the Fox 2.0 system and no rear lift, I'm sitting at a 1/2-inch rake due to my canopy. I've had these in mind for a bit since I also tow some relatively light to medium loads. How does the rear feel with that leaf installed?

With the weight I have back there now between 5-600 lbs it feels like an unloaded truck and matches the stiffness of the front 5100 on the top setting. Definitely not a huge difference from stock but it is noticeable

Thanks! I'm going to go for it and get a set. Also appreciate the heads up on the u-bolts.

I have the following setup right now.
Trd pro fox shocks (2” level from stock)
    Trd skid plate
    Trd pro bbs forged wheels

So would the 285-75-18 (looking at Goodyear Duratracs) fit with my setup without rubbing and modifications other than the front mud flap? Am I better off with 295-70-18?
Seems like a different manufacturers fit differently even with the same tire size.

I’m having those tires installed on stock TRD Off Road wheels with the TRD Pro suspension on Tuesday. I’m going to remove the little front mudflaps beforehand. My skid plate is RCI, though, so no worries there.

You will be ok, I have 285/75r18 Yoko X-AT, true OD is 35.1 and width is about 11.5, no rub at full flex and lock to lock

Can you take a pic from the side to see how much the tires come out. Love the look of those tires on your truck. This might be the perfect setup for me.

Thought about adding spacers, but not keen for rock chips.

Does anyone else rub just the sway bar at full lock with there 285/75r18s? I rub just enough that I want to do something about it.
    Current options would be
Option 1 remove sway bar, that’s my least favorite as I tow quite a bit and my truck is always loaded.
Option 2 adjust steering stops, I’m kind of on the fence here as I would lose some turning radius.
Option 3 would be grind a relief in the sway bar (keeping it cool to make sure I don’t mess up grain of the metal) I like this option the best but I’m not sure I like the idea of grinding on the sway bar. It should twist in the middle of the bar, so where I would be grinding shouldn’t see any twisting load, but it will be used as a lever for the twisting load. Seeing as how this area is necked down to just 1/4 flat where it connects to the end rod I can’t see it being weaker than that area.

    thoughts?

I don't have it on mine, but that doesn't seem worrisome to me, I've had way worse on track cars and the sway bar didn't break after years of abuse.

The tires are copper at3 xlt. I think I’d only have to grind out an 1/8 of an inch.

What brand of tires? Seems like rubbing occurs based on the brand of tire.

What option (1,2 or 3) did you go with for the RXT leaf pack? Great looking truck!

x2. Debating between 285/75 and 295/70. Like a taller skinnier tire but i dunno if it’s gonna fit

It trips me out how each truck has so much variance. I like this tire size but it’s a crap shoot if it will fit with stock wheels.

yes I have one as a full size spare under the bed. The guide brackets will need to be cut or bent to accommodate. Also have heard if running CB shackles it won’t fit. I have toytec adjustable ones and I fit my spare no issues

seems like it’ll fit, and most guys have the Duratrac which is 35.1”. Most other 285/75 are around 34.8. Not much of a difference, but might be enough to keep from rubbing some spots. The width of the 285 helps. Some guys have problems with 295/70 and some don’t as well.

I figured. I have CB+2 ready to go in. Might have to go 295/70. It’ll still be close but maybe that 1/2” makes a difference.
