Fuel Mileage on 6" lift Trucks with 35s

VERY CURIOUS TO HEAR REALLY FULE ECONOMY ON 6"vs Leveling KIT
I am looking to get a new Tundra and i am really debating the 6" lift with 35s. I have ran the 2" leveling Kit and 33s any probably averaged around 15mpg. Any help would be appreciated.
My specs will probably be a 295/60/20 or the 35/12.50/20 Trail grappler or Toyo

 

Just from what I have seen/read on here or other forums, you are probably looking to be around 11-13 MPG depending on how you drive and assuming you have the 5.7 .

 

i have 33 with 20 and 6" lift and i did the lift after the wheels on a 4.6 the biggest thing that killed me were the wheels. im getting 11/12 mpg.

 

From what I understand, city mpg is little affected by the lift itself whereas the highway mpg is. It's has something to do with turbulent flow of air under the truck that affects the efficiency of the truck. If you are concerned with the mpg, stay with 3 inch lift. You could fit 35 inch tires with carefully chosen offset.

I personally think that around 3 inches is of lift is most efficient (best compromise between ground clearance, stability of the truck, etc.). The off road trucks that race aren't lifted very high for a good reason. If you want a monster truck, that's whole another story.

 

2014 Crewmax, 5.7 flexfuel, 7" lift, 35x12.5x20 Trail Grapplers, 5675 miles.
According to my handy-dandy Excel spreadsheets tracking my fuel, my average is 11.95 with a low of 10.2 and a high of 14.
That's mixed driving all over northern Wisconsin and to Tennessee and back.
I have noticed on highway drives I can do a better job keeping it locked up in overdrive by feathering the throttle myself than using cruise.

 

@AxelsHumanDad do you have any pics? Like to see how the 7"'s of lift looks with 35's compared to my 2.5" with 35's. Maybe I need more!

Im getting 11.5 with toyo open country II on a 20" wheel. 35x12.5. But i have trd dual exhaust which sounds good with your foot on the gas.
