There's a local guy parting out an 04 Sequoia with some good prices, contemplating trying to retrofit the center console and power seats into my 02. I found one old tundrasolutions thread about it but all the pics are dead. Any thoughts?

    Here's the console

For $55 I would try it. That's a good deal.

I did it...Found a console from an 04 sequoia and replaced the small console in my 01 SR5. Found the brackets on line. The rear bracket went in like a champ but the front didn't. The carpet was covering where the mounting holes would be. I didn't cut the carpet to find out if the holes were there but its solid with the rear mount

Here ya go...I made a hole for the floor vents up front. Thought about small speaker covers but found they restricted the air flow.

I am working on this upgrade right now. Does anyone know what brackets are needed to swap? I found a few part numbers, but wasn't sure if some are proven to work or not work. Plugging in the outlets on the side is going to take a little rewiring, but so far, so good.

I did the swap from a 2005-ish DC. It’s about 80% plug and play. As @Markiezee68 mentioned, I was only able to utilize the rear bracket as the front was covered by carpet. I also had to snip off the connectors off the cig outlets and replace them with standard spade connectors for them to plug into the truck side. Other than that, it was extremely easy and well worth it in my opinion.

I still need to order the seat warmer blanks but for now it works.

I love it already, of course right now there aren't any bolts securing it. I'll have to post pics, but it has blanks for rocker switches in the front for lights (and locker one day). And, I'm diggin the carbon cupholders with the grey interior. I'm looking into what brackets I need to get, or if I can slide back my existing bracket in the back. I think I'm going to try and stretch the existing cig lighter wiring and just pull the ones out of my old console and pop those into the new location. I think the wiring will reach. Otherwise I might follow your lead.

IIRC, the DC/Sequoia cig lighter harness is attached to a clip on the console. If you remove that, it gives you about 2-3 inches of slack which is just enough to make it work with your truck side wiring. Like I said, I chopped the ends off and put spades on the console side to slide them into the female truck side connectors.
