Glad there's some love for the Step and the color. It's grown on me. I'd like to pick a single color to do the badges/bumpers/flares/wheels in, but I can't settle on anything I think would look good with the Jade.

Here is the listing. Although from what I understand, Amazon batch warehouses so maybe this seller drop shipped legit stuff but the warehouse sent out bunk product.

Post a picture of the fire-end of the plug. It'll be easy to tell if it's counterfeit or not.

If it is, file a report of seller violation, but don't use the word "fake" in your report. Instructions: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp...guage=en-US&ref=mpbc_200414340_cont_200444420

Specifically, it's a seller violation of this policy: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/201165970

I was thinking 'burnt bronze', but its probably a little much for the bumpers!

I once decapitated a ptarmigan with some part of the undercarriage. Ground bird have different preferences.

176,000 miles and she looks brand new. Thanks to routine maintenance. Changing the valve cover gaskets. I think the bolts were just loose, but might as well change the gaskets now.469053CA-AEC9-405B-BF1B-DC56B4A6EC3A.jpg

    "Breaker, breaker... what's your 10-20?"

Boy, I haven't tinkered with that since the late 70's. That was the AIM chat of the day.

Does anyone use them anymore? Nowadays, I use Waze for others reporting the 10-20 of Smokey(s).

Will it fit in the place of the cubby just in front of the blue cloth in your pic? That pocket should just pop out.

It's about the size of a single din headunit. I vote upgrade your factory stereo to a single din and install it right below your new radio :)

    Rear air duct runs there.

I’ve actually seen someone remove their pull out cup holders and fab something for it there.

I believe it runs down to the feet for rear passengers and then over to the B-pillar vents.

The weather was finally decent the other morning here in SW FL, so I rolled down the windows on my drive home from work. And of course I heard a little clicking from the front end, because why should I be able to enjoy my windows being down without hearing a new noise, right? It was speed dependent, but brake and turn independent, so I had a CV suspicion. Well today I decided to check it out and as I suspected, I've got a torn CV boot. Hasn't slung much grease yet so there isnt much mess to clean up thankfully. But then I started looking around, which was a bad idea, and I noticed a little too much play in the LCA bushings for my liking. And WTH, may as well do the LBJs and poly rack bushings while I'm at it. Anyway, time to park the Tundra for a few weeks (cant work on it til the 1st week of November bc of work and vacation). :frusty:

Obviously going OEM for LBJs/bolts/castles and probably new cam bolts/sleeves/eccentrics as well. But I'm tempted to go with new LCA from 1Aauto with bushings preinstalled. Any advice from the collective wisdom before I start ordering? https://www.1aauto.com/2004-07-toyo...-control-arm-set-trq/i/1asfk01922/839932/2005

The other vehicles were recovered today, and I got my first look at the damage.
The bed may have been pushed to one side and the leaf springs may have fanned out a bit, but the damage doesn't appear to be terrible.

Did you get the ultimate coilovers? or just the coils? Ive been curious about the ultimate coilovers because the price seens good and the range of adjustment seems right. How much lift did you set them too? Also I thought the ultimate's were not rebuild able and the boss's were?

Edit: I realize you have the old boss coilovers, not the boss aluma ones.

I checked that bolt/bushing on my truck today and discovered the bottom bushing lip was disintegrating. Bolt came off without snapping like yours did. Also discovered that Pin Lever (circled) adjacent to the bolt was seized. Didn’t realize it was suppose to also swivel until feeling the Mojo. Ended up penetrating spraying and lubing the pin until the orange bled out. Made a make shift washer to accommodate until two new bushings arrive.

The parking brake action is better now. Maybe this explains why with all the adjustments for the better that the pass wheel of the rear still needed a manual adjustment at the star hole 3-5 clicks.
