I want to cut my exhaust just after the axle where it's facing downward @ the lowest point before it goes parallel w/the ground. I want to do this so I don't crush it into the bed off-roading but I don't want any drone. Factory I have zero. Will I still have zero if I cut @ this location? Thanks.

Factory exhaust will not have any change in sound or drone..

I made this exact cut on mine and it helped with my drone. I have a big magnaflow muffler, slight drone at low speed 1800rpms.

If you happen to detect drone after cutting the tail pipe, know that @dirtydeeds makes an extra long resonator for the shortened tail pipe. I have one on my RCSB.
