I'm running a 2WD 2012 Tundra with a leveling kit and high caster JBA uca's I am not supposed to run past a 4" lift with the upper control arms but I wanted to find out if i could run a spindle lift without effecting the functionality of the upper control arms. With this I will be putting in coilovers that come with 3.5" of lift I want around 6" of lift anything more than 4 but I do not want to get rid of these control arms as I just got them for months ago and love the quality. If a more seasoned member could comment of this I would highly appreciate.

Which 6" kit are you planning on installing? I am assuming that you are doing a spindle/block lift? If so, most of those kits "Pro Comp; BDS; Rough Country; Tough Country, etc. designed those kits to keep your factory geometry, and thus, your factory UCA's. That being said, I am not familiar with "JBA" UCA's so not sure how much extra caster you get with them. When I researched getting aftermarket UCA's for my Pro Comp kit, Pro Comp said I should stick with the OEM UCA's. Icon said I could put aftermarket UCA's, BUT the UCA's WILL HAVE TO BE their fully "adjustable" billet UCA's as the tubular UCA's would provide TOO MUCH caster. Go figure. Your best bet is to talk to the tech's at whichever company's lift that you are going to purchase.

Right now the spacer I am running adds 2" of length to my coilover maybe a little bit more than that, I am not sure if that equals 2" of lift. I will probably go for a 4" lift as my uca's are high caster but not fully adjustable, max lift using them is 4" so I will run 3.5" rough country N3 coilovers with a small half inch shim on each strut. I should be fine and still be able to get my alignments but if I go over that it gets complicated I would need a spindle lift, 6" coilover, and an extra inch of spacer lift, my truck would look funny with that set up lol I wouldn't get to use all that new space, 4" will be just enough to give me the height I want along with functionality, I just wanted to get rid of that rake without having giant ride killing spacers. I'm going from a giant billet spacer and old coilovers with 141K on them to new lifted coilovers with only a small 1/2" spacer that also gets rid of the front rake that I don't like.

I apologize as I am confused. Are you shooting for a 4" lift or a 6" lift? And if you are going for a 6" spindle lift, why would you need an extra 1" of lift via a spacer on top of the coilover? You lost me.

I ended up with a 3.5" N3 RC coilover with a half inch spacer on top. Will need an inch in the back if I want to level it out but it rides amazing compared to before.

Just a headsup I have 4" of lift in the front because of a small shim spacer, these pictures are sitting on an incline but there is usually a slight lean I would probably be better off with a 1" block but I don't want to go through the hassle, either way 3.5" will make the front higher than the back. Less noticable with the rollers on the truck because they have a slightly smaller tire but this should give you an idea of how it looks.
