Transfer, front and rear diff oil

What oils do y'all use for the transfer case? As well as the front and rear diff?

 

Front and rear Mobil one 75 90

transfer case took the plunge and got Toyota 75w.

if you look on bitog some folks did voa on it and it has a distinct additive package.

 

Schaeffers for front and rear diff, ravenol for the transfer case.

 

RedLine 75w85 for the front and rear differentials and Toyota 75w for the transfer case.

My 2019 4x4 Sport has 16,2xx miles and I’m the only owner. The last 3K-4K miles when I would get to highway speeds and let off the throttle and then get back on the throttle there has been a slight hesitation and a light jolt and clunk sound. I figured it was my rear differential. Tonight I drained the rear differential and the gear oil was a very dark chocolate colored brown. I am working with lights because the sun has went down. Nonetheless, I was shocked to see the poor shape of the factory fill. The magnetic drain plug of course was maxed out and could not hold any additional metal particles and there was a lot of metal sparkle in the oil drain pan after dumping it at AutoZone. I refilled with nearly 4 quarts of Mobil 1

$39 75W-90 GL-5 Limited Slip, Ultra Long Drain 500k Miles, Manual Transmission, Gear/Differential Lubricant (1 Gallon)

75W-90 Synthetic. Put 100 miles on the fresh oil and it drives like it should and the jolt and clunk are now gone. For what it is worth, I haven’t towed anything, nor I have I pushed the payload.

Here is my learning, CHANGE the rear differential oil every 15,000 miles. I wish I would’ve done this at 10,000 miles.

Also, if your doing a lot of DIY drivetrain fluid changes it’s worth investing in the motive powerfill pump. As others mentioned can’t go wrong with OEM 75w transfer case fluid and redline 75w85 Diff fluid.
