IMO yes, those tires will fit a stock truck and look very very similar to stock size. Only 10mm wider. However if you have aftermarket wheels that changes the looks a lot

Did you have to do anything special to attach your center caps? I have the same wheels, in gunmetal, and the caps they sent me didn't line up with the wheel.

Also, are you having any vibration issues? Put mine on last year with BFG KO2's, and have yet to find a shop that can get them balanced. Even with road force balancing. The steering wheel shake is bad enough that I'm considering a different wheel/tire setup.

I had wheels/tires done at discount tire. They mentioned no issues with the center caps (maybe ill need to look closer at them). Got a pic of your center caps and issue you got?

Coopers are quiet and smooth, no steering wheel vibrations. They ride like a P rated tire, but MPGs remind me that they are LT.

Purchased mine from a local tire store. They arrived with the Iron Cross cap by mistake, so they had to mail me the Dirty Life ones separately. By the time they arrived, and I got to putting them on, the tire store was out of business, so I contacted the distributor directly (Wheel Group). The rep told me that it was a manufacturing error, and they didn't have the branded caps to fit the Tundra wheels. Don't mind the look with them off, so I wasn't too concerned, and never followed up.

Man that sucks. Its like they sent you the wrong cap size for the rim size you have (running 18" rims?).

Running w/o the caps doesnt lool too bad!

Sorry if this is a stupid question (and sorry for not reading all 72 pages) but if stock wheel size is 18x8, is there a way to make an 18x9 wheel fit? I can't seem to find very many 18x8 wheels. TIA.

Also, anyone running RTX Aspens? Those seem to be the only 18x8 rims I can find other than the steel ones the stealership wants $1100 for.

Edit: question retracted. Looks like the Aspens only have a 110 mm centre bore vs. the 110.5 mm that's required on 2014+ so I guess I'll just go with the package from the dealer.

How sure are you about this? Every single website I've looked at says wheels with a 110 or 110.1 mm bore will fit my truck.

@csuviper The first post says that 2014+ comes with
    • P255/70R18 Michelin tires
    My 2020 SR5 came with
    • P255/70R18 Bridgestone Dueler H/T
    Just throwing that out there.

Most people buying wheels for tundra are lifting and want bigger/wider tires that need 9 inch wheels.

you can run 9 inch wide wheels with the stock 275 tires. I ran that for a while and it looks good

Tires stick out more than I wanted and think it would look better if they were an all terrain tire.

    otherwise fully stock.

Rubs the small front mudflap the smallest bit in reverse. but 4 10mm bolts solves that one. no other rubbing. Not as clean as many of the trucks posted, but .... daily driven.

    Cheers.

I'm sorry in advance if this is redundant, but I recently bought a 2014 Tundra CM TRD 4x4. In the near future I will be adding the Toytec Complete Performance 3" Aluma Lift kit as well as JBA Off-Road UCAs. I also want to upgrade my wheels and tires in conjunction with the lift. After doing a lot of research and reading through the majority of this thread I've decided to go with the Ballistic Scythe 20x9 wheels with a +12 offset and 285/65/20 tire(still deciding between the BFG KO2 or the Nitto Ridge Grap). I will also later down the road add the Bushwacker Pocket style fender flares.

    So my questions are:

    1. Will I be able to run this set up without any rubbing? Minimal plastic modification I can deal with, but I want to stay away from any body chopping.

    2. Will the 20x9 wheel with the +12 offset push my tire flush with my fender flares once they're installed?

    Thanks in advance.

let me try, since I just went through 2 months of research before getting my truck.

compared to my setup (pics just above), your tires will be 20mm less overall width than mine, which means they will stick out 10mm less than mine on each side of your 9" rim. But your offset is 8mm more than mine. That means the outside of your tire will be 2mm less sticking out than mine shows in the pic above.

Mine sticks out about 20mm past stock fenders to the end of the tread, and 40mm or so to the sidewall (a guess, with a silly little ruler), so yours will stick out, say, 38mm to the sidewall. Depends on the tire you choose - I think the K02s are more "square" tread to the sidewall than the AMP I got.

Bushwacker flares, based on a really quick google search, are 1.75" for the Tundra, which is approx 44mm added to the fender. So, if you add 44 mm to the fender, and your tire sticks out 38mm past the stock fender, you will be close to flush, with about 6mm to spare. If you want a tiny poke past the bushwackers, something +1 to +6 might be better.

That's just offset & poke though.

The further you push the tire out, the larger the turning "arc" the wheel makes as the front wheels turn. Your tire is about 8% larger diameter than stock and a touch wider. Pushed out with a +12 offset I would expect it to rub the small front mudflap after doing the 3" lift. If you were putting those tires in stock location, would maybe be OK. a +1 offset and you might be into trimming a bit?

I'm not an expert... I have lots of experience with tuner cars and about 2 hours of actual experience with these trucks (with a 2008 and I'm sure there are subtle differences to other years). People with exactly your setup hopefully can chime in and confirm one way or another. And good luck!!

edit: I built a few calculators many years ago more focused on turner cars, that might be helpful to folks here. There's no advertising and I don't make any money from it.

I am doing a 3in rough country lift in the front and a 1 in block in back.
    I have fuel blitz d675 18x9 +20 offset
If i do 35x12.5 ko2 With a 1/2 in spacer will it cause a lot of rubbing

What all did you have to do to make those tires fit with just a level kit? I can see you removed the mud flaps... anything else?

    Any rubbing?
