Finally got some much needed detailing done. Stripped, nano skinned, polished, sealed and two coats of wax. Glass is clean and all the trim got some 303. I also pulled the rear bumper, cleaned and coated the inside and cleaned up the hitch.

That is a very clean looking truck! What is the 303 you mention for the trim?

Thanks! 303 is a spray protectant. Alot of tonneau manufacturers recommend it because it doesn't have any silicone in it. I've used it for years and also like their multi surface cleaner.20200824_180837.jpg 20200824_180850.jpg

Added some mounts in the bed rails for a little toolbox to carry some basic tools. Might hate it in practice, but liked the idea.

Fantastic product. I use this every time I wash on all the black trim, the mudflaps and front and rear bumpers. Makes them look brand new.

Thanks! It was a full weekend worth of work but I enjoy doing it and love how the truck looks. I feel much better about the hitch and the inside of the bumper now that the rust is gone.

I get it. For some reason I don't mind spending the time doing detailing. The finish product is worth it to me. It kind of relaxes me.

Used it to pick up my custom built trailer. 6x12 7 feet tall. Had to go custom to clear the beams under my carport. It will even fit in the garage if needed.

Had some issues with the parking/turn signal bulbs burning out and swapped them for the LASFIT LED bulbs. Pretty bright and most of the time doesn't have the Hyperflash syndrome. These things are bright, but worth the price if I don't have to replace bulbs.

I didn't feel like pulling my trailer.
    Air bags @48psi.

    Couple questions.

How long have you had your bags? Overall opinion of them?

    What fenders are those?

    Also nice TForce sticky.

B.Ross - I've been looking at the Bushwacker fender flares like that, except the version without the visible bolt holes. Know if there is a major structural difference between the ones you have and the "sleek" version?

I'd think they'd be the same structurally. The fake bolts on mine are held in with nylock nuts. They in no way aid in mounting on the truck.

    Pinned my transmission thermostat today.
    upload_2020-8-28_18-10-6.jpg
Before I was around 195 cruising at 70mph on the freeway and highest it got was 210 at a red light on top of a hill
    upload_2020-8-28_18-11-39.jpg
After pinning at cruising speed of 70 I’m around 160-165 at the converter and got to a high of 180 at the same light on top of a hill.

Both times I drove I had no load. From the research I’ve done this puts the fluid at a more optimal temp. Can anyone think of a negative effect this may have? I’m thinking I’ll unpin when winter comes around.

Interesting, I’m also wondering if possible negatives of this but shoot 30 degrees cooler temps is a win in my book.

Installed a Red ARC brake controller. Stupid easy, the hardest part was locating a place for the controller. I put it underneath the cup holders and drilled a hole for the wires. Great controller, we pulled a 7k lb travel trailer to Montana last week without a hiccup.
