I see that the window switch was fairly involved, what might be different between the one you completed and the ones for the Double Cab models?

 

I'm thinking the double cabs have SMD (leds on a board) rather than the style we AC peeps have

 

Brakes have felt like stepping on a brick all week. I was sick of it, and bled them.

Think I did something wrong because know the brakes feel like stepping on a rotten plum, and struggle to stop the truck at low speeds.

Any help would be appreciated.

I went from:
Front left to rear right
Front right to rear left
Lspv

 

Always start the furthest from the MC. Rear pass, rear driver, lspv, front pass and finally front driver.

How are you bleeding them? Do you have a helper pushing the pedal or are you doing it the 1 man way. It almost sounds like you introduced air into the system somehow. I did the same thing last year and it took a few tries to get it all out.

 

Also, don’t push the brake peddle all the way to the floor when bleeding, you can blow a seal in the MC.

 

By myself with the ole dr. Pepper bottle. Up, down, up, down...

No helpers for me.

Today I changed my oil and filter at 4500 miles lol. The oil was coming up on 7 months old and was looking darker then usual. I run penzoil platinum 5w30 with

I just changed my oil, it took 6.6 quarts and I'm exactly at the top dot on the dipstick
