    5% tint. Black rhino arsenal 20x9.5 295/55/20 KO2.
Put on 5% tint today looks really good. Had 15 on my other car and wanted to go a little darker next time I’ll meet at 10 , 5 is really dark lol.

Nice! Does that essentially extend the hitch, or is it closed off and you lose your hitch? Can't tell in the pick.

    A LOT... NEVER ENDS
So to start, I just use dawn soap in water. Brush the heck out of the under carriage. Spray with hose. Let it dry. Spray a coat of fluid film.

I didn't do it last year (got lazy because of finishing my masters). This year gonna have to scrub dirt and treat any rust then spray.

I'm not a fan of spray rubber style type undercoat because I've seen horrible rust caused from it. I do the painful task of fluid film. I have no major rust. Rust is actually pretty minimal.

Anyone have any other insight please chime in. I'd love to hear of easier ways. I just do what I've done for years

Agree with avoiding any kind of spray on rubberized undercoating. They have a high chance of trapping rust underneath which can go unnoticed and wreak havoc.

I use fluid film as well. I applied it once i got the truck last November and it hardly has any rust at all despite having 120k miles all in the MD/PA salt belt. The spray gun attachment is a lot easier to use and more economical long term than the cans.

ok going to have to do this. Question for those who have done it, how to you remove the cover. I’m sure I can figure it out but just haven’t looked at it yet.

A lot. See my channel for all installs/mods!
Pops right off!...lift the front straight up and then the back will come right off, it’s only held on by 2 points where it “snaps” on...hope that helps!

You know you have a vehicle you love when no matter where you park it you can’t stop looking at it. At first I didn’t like the chrome on the grill, bumper , door handles, or side view mirrors but it’s starting to grow on me now. Whats everyone else’s opinion? Cause I have the trd magnetic grill in my cart for 2 weeks now, just haven’t pulled the trigger.

Honestly, if you like the chrome, I'd put the money toward something else.

I agree with you but I also think if you got rid of some of the chrome and went with color-keyed you'd look at it and love it as much or more without the chrome.

I'm in the same boat as you. I love looking back at it and no matter what it's got on it, it still looks great to me and I have a 1794, which has all kinds of chrome on it.

By the way, can you tell me the size wheels and tires you have and the offset on those rims?

That’s the thing though I don’t like chrome at all but it’s not that bad right now but in the back of my mind I know it’s there.

I think it's one of those, once you start replacing it you will hate what's left. I think it's all or nothing. I don't mind the chrome I have (besides what's inside the cab that reflects light into eyes while driving...) but I plan to upgrade bumpers in the future and I know once I have black bumpers the chrome grill surround won't work for me. Your truck looks good with it, but once you change out a few items I think you will find you will want them all changed.
    Good luck!

That would probably be the easiest way to get the front caps done for sure. I am 100% in on the grill though. Thing looks way too damn good

I was the same way. I wound up replacing my grille and bulge, and still my favorite picture of my truck is one when it had chrome. That might also partially be because my end caps are still chrome on the front.

I guess I'm just saying prioritize the mod money. If there's anything else that you really really want, and you can live with the Chrome for a year or two, I'd do it.

I wanted the 1794 interior with the Platinum exterior. That was not an option I could custom order. As costly as it's going to be, replacing exterior chrome is going to be cheaper and easier than replacing the Platinum interior with the 1794. I plan to perform this over the course of a few years, with my other desired mods mixed in.

That’s a good way to think about it. Same reason I went with the 1794.. interior
