    they have heavy duty 3m double sided tape rated for like 30lbs, you just need a little piece (1-1.5 inch) on each end. no need for messy caulking

    Can someone tell me how to safely remove and replace the roof drip molding on a 2011 Toyota Tundra double cab?

    its just double sided tape on both ends. front side has some hinge contraption with the double sided tape. you can refurbish your strips if they are in one piece. remove, wipe down with mr clean eraser and water few times. let completely dry. spray with some black trim and bumper paint. put on 3m heavy duty double sided tape on both ends and install front side first.

    Does anyone know how these are installed? I know it’s not a laborious job, but I would like to install them correctly. I have the clips and I see the double sided tape one one end of the molding (which I’m sure goes towards the rear). I’ve looked into YouTube, but no luck there.

    Thanks in advance!

    clip in the front, run it back, peel double sided tape and press it onto the back. pretty straight forward, no tricks.

    been having the same issue with the pass side blowing off, either driving on highway or blowers in the car wash.

    Havent taken my truck to the car wash in over a year and just 2 weeks ago i broke down and went thru.

    Same stuff - blew right off at the driers.

    Just bought some of this to reattach it.

    @Roman

    The passenger side roof drip moulding is missing on my 2005 Double Cab Limited. I believe the two part numbers that I need are below - would anyone be able to confirm? Not sure if any kind of clips or anything else is needed... Also - any recommendations where to order these from? some initial searches show $65-75 just for the strip (seems quite high for a little piece of rubber)

    75551-0C040 (strip)
    75553-0C010 (cap)

    Thanks!

    I also had my moulding blow off my 2017 Platinum Crewmax from a carwash. I just ordered the fill moulding set (front and rear both sides with extra clips) from Cool Springs Toyota. Thank you for the part number tips!

    I had just replaced both of mine on an 08. I spent extra time making sure the sticky residue and dirt was off. No issues through the car wash yet lol.

    Both of mine blew off at Buccees. I'm pretty sure they have a collection of these at the carwash!!! :(

    Sounds that way. My 2016 looks good as new. Central Florida, and the truck has never been in the shade.

    07 Toyota tundra CM.... Amazon $22 for both sides, there really is no left or right they're exactly the same. I actually like these better because they put a longer section of 3M tape on.
