IMO THE FOLLOWING ARE THE BEST ALL TERRAINS OUT THERE. I was floored at how well these things drove, and from a company I never expected high quality from.

::::One of the lesser known Newer tire offerings on the market that are BAD ASS are the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's. My best friend just put them on his truck about a month ago. I would have never given Falken any serious consideration, but my buddy swore up and down that all the reviews by various 4wheel and truck magazines and online publications of the tires where praising them. They WILL be my next tires having driven his truck and being BLOWN AWAY at how good they are. I currently have BFG KO2's. They are also rated for M/S without feeling overly soft to the touch. He's driven them on snow and ice and won't stop talking about how great they handle. IMO they are the best 4 season truck tire on the market. Here is a link to a great article on them and some photos. I think they have the competitions tires beat in SPADES in this category. His truck has a turbo and a cold air intake and tuner. The grip on these things is insane.

Good to have options. Glad Falken has stepped up the game.

I like the DynaPro ATM from Hankook myself. Wouldn't mind a set of Cooper AT3's either, but have no experience with those. IMG_0841.jpg

Not sure what I'm putting on my tow rig next. Usually having lugs on the outside of heavy tow rig tires makes for a short lived tire.

The linked review was positive, but it was a big let down after reading your 'insane' pitch for it. The reviewers were hardly 'blown away.' Are you by any chance being paid by the company? Just curious.

Yup I have about 3000 miles on mine but my truck is a mall crawler lol. Only off-road I have done is some light snow haha. It kept me comfortable in the snow though. Not one time did I feel that I had no traction.

I have 275/70r18 Mastercraft Courser MXT's on my truck and they are waaaay awesome. They have the nice aggressive look and they drive pretty awesome. So far I've had the same set on for 2 years and have been everywhere including snow, ice, mud, rain, desert, beach, sand and all of the above other than a damn tornado and they held up awesome. Have about 40% tread after 30K miles and I'm pretty sure I could go 50K if I rotate like I should.

:rofl:No, not being paid:rofl:And that is just a general article I found online. I just pulled the photos here from a google search because I don't have pictures of homies truck. Besides, he drives a brand new F-150:der:, and I can't stand Ford. My rave reviews were not posted to back up the article. The rave reviews are to back up my personal experience driving on them....not to mention my buddies impression of them---the guy is a Marine and a truck snob which is the only reason I took him seriously when he said "Falken".....I was like "are you Falken kidding me?!:lalala: Also, no one is really talking about these tires yet. I think they are SO good they are worth mentioning for everyone to consider as an option. If I see another Nitto or BFG post I'm going to puke........ Of course I have KO2's:proposetoast:

Falken can't keep them in stock in their warehouses, they have been very popular.

Did you say HONDA PILOT?!:cookiemonster:  My wife has one of those/ If I put AT3's on her Pilot I would be in HUGE trouble....mainly for destroying it off road:rofl:PS/ thanks for the photo....it does a better job capturing how rugged they are than the pics I posted!

I heard they were more for those of us who don't want to spend 300-400 a tire and i'll be honest, I've been nothing but happy with them. They wear even and like I said, I'm about 100 miles until my 30K mark and they have tons to tread left. Keep I in mind, I do shit like this to my truck. I've only gotten stuck once with them and it was because I though I was driving on packed snow and it ended up being about 7 foot of overnight powder with rain. Other then that, everyone that I meet that asks about them, or buddies who see me wheel them, if they tried them they like them. And they are badass for the price.

I've through 2 sets of the Hankooks/ I LOVE those tires, I wanted to try something new. My buddy with the Falkens loved his Coopers but said the Falkens give him better all around traction........ Now to see how his tread holds up over time......

The last set of falken tires I owned wore out so quick, I swore I'd never own another set. I guess we will see how well these hold up for folks here.

Yeah, glad they are severe snow approved so I don't need chain when i go up in the snow. They are also very quiet, no complaints. Just wondering how long they will last... hopefully not long so I can go bigger! lol

I read this thread yesterday and chuckled a little bit, then I went and priced tires today and two different tire stores recommended this exact tire right out of the gate. One of the tire salesman had them on his truck out front and he swears by them over all the major brands. I've never had Falken and don't know much about them but I guess they're in the conversation for me now.

A lot of tires are starting to look very similar in the realm of the Goodyear wrangler duratrac.

I know Jason Demello is a Falken sponsor and runs Falken MTs on his tundra (dream truck). I just bought tires, and I went with the Toyo MTs. I wanted something aggressive, that would wear well and drive smooth, and all the reviews for the Toyo MTs were really good. I've had them in 2 feet of snow and they virtually never lost traction. I have had truck at 75 on the interstate in 6" of snow cover and no road treatment, in 2wd and never felt the truck even squirm. I've been really happy with them, but I also am a huge fan of Duratracs with very similar results on a previous Tacoma. These Falkens sound ok, but wouldn't be my first choice unless money was tight.

20170224_180242.jpg 20170224_180236.jpg had them installed on the pilot. For a pretty agressive tire they were really quiet. So far handle well on dry road might buy these on my crewmax in the near future
