Hey @empty_lord question for you. It would be easier for me to use the 2003-2009 4Runner steering wheel instead of this 2nd gen tundra wheel right? My airbag would match up as well as the 4Runner would use the same steering wheel controls so there would be no having to figure out the wiring.

That is pretty damn cool looking.

I am working on adjusting my new eyes:

Anyone considering LEDs, just skip it and go with HID retro fit. I highly recommend @SouthPaw s kit.
With LEDs in the city with oncoming traffic, it seemed as if I didn't even have my headlights on. Now, I gots light and the high beams are ridiculous! The beam pattern is so nice compared to the LEDs. Halo's connected to my repurposed dash switch too.

Done. I’m going to that one instead then. Hope it doesn’t look too terrible with my tan controls and airbag

06 4 wheel drive with 260,000 miles. It has a leaking transfer case seal and the AIP system isn't working, but I got it for $4,300.

Curious, do the right-hand controls for phone audio work? It looks like they just attach via ribbon cable to the left-hand radio controls when the airbag assembly is off so I was really curious if our truck had the correct wiring in place (passing thru the clock spring) to support the extra buttons or not.

Adding to the list. I noticed there are a few different versions of that control, used for 4Runner, Camry, and others.

What year 4Runner is that from again? I probably should be looking for that too, instead of just Tundra and Sequoia.

Edit: Looks like the part# in dark grey for that button is 84244-35030-B0 (But I think it's orange/amber backlit). I can't seem to find the p/n for the cable to connect it to the left-hand control, though! (found it: 84204-58010)

Overlander bed platform almost complete. Now I have to wire in lights and inverter. Next up is prinsu style rack for the solar panel and other goodies.

I weighed all components before installing and comes to a grand total of 138lbs

The Camry setup is for a clock on the right side. So it won’t work. The 4runner and 2nd gen Tacoma black (dark grey) will work. The led color is amber mind you. Super rare and expensive, siennas had the FAWN color voice command and what not switches for the wheel on the right

That's the one thing I didn't consider. I don't even recall what color the LEDs are on my current controls. I just bought a replacement left control a couple months ago because mine are worn just about smooth.

So you're saying the 4R and Taco both have amber voice control buttons, or just the Taco?

Sorry for the bajillion questions. Thanks for taking the time.

Naw, just not driving it much. Bought a beater F150 to use around the new acreage, and end up driving it a lot daily - mostly cause I don't care about it. On the other hand, treating the Tundra like a museum piece. Tundras are nice but shouldn't be garage queens.

But now that you mention it, I could use a skid steer for the new acreage...:monocle:

Wazzzzup! Enjoy some photos from a recent trip to CO! New rear suspension did awesome. Didn’t have any rear end problems with all this droop!

I’m making the switch to DuroBumps front bump stops from the Wheelers Superbumps. Superbumps will be for-sale here shortly if anyone is interested.

I also have some 13” 650lb coils Off Icon 2.5s for sale if anyone is interested.
