Finally left discount tire with everything working correctly. They ended up replacing all of the TPMS sensors. I can only assume they installed used ones last time as they were all dead (only 2 yrs old) and were unable to be scanned, the pre-pubescent ‘tech’ said.
I still can’t believe that he tried to get me to leave with a blinking TPMS dash light saying that his Toyota does the same thing!
Not sure I have much faith in shops these days. I just need to buy a shop,
4-point lift, alignment machine, tire mounter/balancer...that should cover most work

    Actually, Only 270 crank stock.

How many miles on that engine? that's pretty impressive without a supercharger.

Would love to hear an update on the performance of your new front locker. Clamshell = lunchbox locker? I've been hesitant to lock the front because I hear some complain that it clicks around corners even when not in 4WD. I didn't think this would be the case, but would love to hear your experience. Truck looks great BTW.

You can clear coat with 2k if you want however if you spray it fine enough (higher psi) I have been able to achieve a nice eggshell sheen. Like 65 to 75 psi wet on the last coat. You have to play with it but it's a game changer. I backed up into a hitch the other day and it didn't even scratch just dented my bumper :dancingbacon:

10-15 if it’s an internal amp in the radio. That’s going off other radios of the same vintage

The button is used to reset the lights on pressure. So tired inflated to 30psi, the light will come on at 25 if you press and hold that button. It’s a reset that sets the light on to w/e is about 5 psi less than you have in your tires.

That's true. It's interesting how the 05 makes 282 at the crank and the next year with the exact same engine makes 271. I remember reading about all the controversy.

I just rolled over 109k miles.

It'd be fun if pushing the big EXTRA BASS button made four 15s fold up where the rear seat once was.

    Will do!

I chose this one because it has a built-in 45wx4 RMS amp. Will bump a lot harder than most stock or aftermarket head units.

Daaaaaaamn, I thought that was just electrical tape and you were dicking around with how a blacked out grill and bumper would look.

My drive home was about 35-40 mins and didn't hear any clicking. It should only make that noise if in 4x4 and I think on the pavement which is why I went with it over an e-locker or air locker. It's considerably cheaper and won't be needed unless I'm already offroading.

I was looking for a truck for my nephew and I found this for a price I couldn't pass up

So I bought it and sold my 2001 access cab to my nephew.

Also, bought that sequoia in the background for $750, needs some serious love, but I have 4 kids and we do a lot of roadtrips, so it will be a much better family car.

Changed the oil and filter today after about 3500 miles use. All went well. Nice having a used oil drop centre down the street.

Still have enough oil for 2 more changes from that bulk purchase made 2 years ago. Thought I was smart in stocking up with 50 quarts at the time. Just checked Wallace Wurrlld and Mobil 1 is cheap still. Shoulda held off in retrospect. :annoyed::rofl:

Gives me the reason to change early and often.

Boom! Deck installed! Crutchfield is awesome. I soldered and heatshrinked all my connections. It feels so good when you do a wiring harness right.
