Yes it’s idling perfect it just won’t engage out of park, the shifter is locked. And the cluster lights are all on, high/low , abs light on and blinking.

Hmm. Possibly in limp mode. Fuses all good? Can you test for trouble codes?

    Good work Tim.

Maybe something with your evap. Try to put some gas in it. Do you know anyone with a code reader?

From the chart, there's only one diag for the ABS to be blinking, i would start with the ABS fuse first.

When the truck's T-case goes into neutral, is there an "N" on the dash? I can't remember. You can put it in any gear, but there is no feeling of the tranny going into gear?

Is it not coming out of park for some weird electronic reason, like the car thinks your foot is not on the brake pedal? Or are you on a steep driveway?

Is the 4 wheel drive dial in 2H or 4H?

    Hello Tilly. Your transfer case selector dial: 2H= 2 wheel drive/high, 4H= 4 wheel drive/high, N=neutral, 4L= 4 wheel drive/low (gear ratio).

Well crap Cougar67. Sorry. I am at a loss. I don't know. I thought it might be a T-case dial between gears and/or your were on a hill w/lots of pressure on the parking pawl.

Gonna add this to the threads I keep an eye on, it's always good to know what the resolution to these turns out to be.

Ahhh, no that's not how it works at all, at least on my 19. The selector gives you the option of 2WD, not (2WD Hi or Low), no such thing, 4H or 4L. Neutral being included in the process involves the trans being in neutral in order to switch to 4L.

No code, but half the dash is lit up? That doesn t sound right. There should to be a code if a dummy light is lit up. I would dis connect the battery for several minutes. with battery still dis connected stick key in ignition, turn on, past acc, to on. Try to shift out of park

You said there are no codes? How did you check?
