Yes, some days I mistake your signals for momba with momma and I get easily confused.
    20200725_163211.jpg
Takes some work on both ends to get me back in sync with big thyme signals like you use.

Forgot to mention I placed my order Tuesday for all 3 denso ignition coils, $150.

And new toy plug wires, $67-ish.

    Total $220. :spending:

Received today! Tomorrow is install day.

I've got a few ideas for more cab experiments also. Will wait for proof of success/failure before posting too many details.

just watched way too many youtube videos. I REALLY wanna try power paragliding. Love flying and have my private rotor license but don't like falling so never wanna skydive or bungiejump. However, gliding over sand dunes and rolling hills just seems so relaxing and really intriguing to me....another expensive hobby I don't need to get into.

I think I've made my most expensive decision to date on this truck.

After browsing around online, and not being able to confirm that the V8 frame is the same as the V6 frame.

Also not being able to find one decent truck locally (350 mile radius) that doesn't have rust, has not had some sort of frame bending impact, or has been burnt to a frigging crisp....

I'll just buy a new frame when the time comes. One problem with that. The only new OEM frame part number I can find is thus: 51001-0C061

3.4L V6 AT 4X4. Not 4X2 like mine. I'm not sure if the two are compatible, or not.

    Can anyone help me confirm?

Man I would honestly buy a different Tundra with a V8 before I bought a new frame. You're already around 300k miles on that truck right? How much is a frame?

The thought crossed my mind, but it just wouldn't be the same. Ya know? I was literally RAISED in the this truck. To/from scouting adventures, prom, work, traveling, EVERYTHING in my young, and adult life this truck has been there.

Depends on the vendor. Cheapest I've found is around 3k if the 4X4 frame would even work. Although, I guess I could add the 4X4 parts. Hmmm.

The 4x4 frame is the same for the most part. Only difference might be transmission crossmember. But even that is probably the same location. Your frame likely has all the 4x4 provisions in the front end to mount the front diff. All prerunner Tacoma’s are 4x4 frames. The 5 lugs were totally different. The tundras never had the odd 2wd frame setup so your frame should be the same as a 4x4 frame

Bro, throw some Krud Kutter on a microfiber towel and go to town. My door panels were starting to look this way and that Krud Kutter and the microfiber cleaned them up real good.

    Neat design! Super simple!

Cleaned up the brown cover, and removed dust. Didn't feel comfortable prying too hard on the window switch covers. Left them alone.

Sprayed left over silicone spray with Teflon per PHM on the pivot points, and removed outside to dry in the heat. Blue arrows

Has anyone converted one of their 12v plugs to constant hot? I need to be able to run the fridge when the truck is off. My only concern is if having my dash cam plugged in would then drain the battery.

So far I've only found a thread for 2nd gens.
