We all miss my dad. He was a good man; loved and respected by all who knew him. He took pride in taking care of his Tundra. Now it is up to me to see that the Tundra is well cared for. I’m joining this forum to get some ideas for mods and advice on how to keep the Tundra in tip top shape. Looking forward to spending some money to give the Tundra a few upgrades. Suggestions welcomed.

Welcome. So sorry for your loss. As a father it, makes me happy that you are showing pride and wanting to honor him in this way. It may seem like just an object, but I care very much about my truck. It sounds like he did also. What a great way to honor him, by taking care of his baby when he can no longer do so.

How about some pics of the truck?

    My condolences on your loss.

    Welcome from SoCal.

Look around the forum and get familiar with the tutorials and how to do threads. Also don’t forget to check out build pages for the 2nd gens, you’d get lots of ideas on maintenance and mods to keep up on your dad’s truck.

And if there’s anything else you need, then get hold of staff and we’d be glad to help.

Sorry for your loss. I experienced your type of loss when my dad passed away nearly five years ago. I inherited his 2002 Ford Excursion. I still have it but it's only a 2wd. I bought my Tundra to have a 4wd.

    sorry for your loss :(
I was just gifted my grandfather's outboard and 14' boat

Did your dad do all recommended maintenance? If not start there and get it up to date
if he didn't have it modded, maybe run it stock after doing a complete service on it - keep it as his for a bit before you change it to your preference. He drove it that way for a while, you should as well
cheers, and chin up, prayers to you

Sorry for your loss. You'll definitely find any information about our trucks on here. And if you can't, just ask, someone will either point you in the right direction, or hopefully give you some helpful answers.

Oh, by the way, welcome from UT!
