    We make airbags for subaru/ford?/toyota.

We make weatherstrip for Tundra/Tacoma/Ford transit van/sun roof weather strip for the highlander?

We also have a few lexus contracts.

I am maintenance tech at our little factory. I help to keep production going.

    Thanks!

    Like my table I made?

I'm starting in on the dash cam wiring hide job. Pulling headliner. I have everything needed for this job.

Don't have my front susp parts. :annoyed:

Sorry, I knew you worked in some sort of auto parts plant, what work are you trying to get done on your front end by Monday? And you already tried to get an alignment but they couldn’t because frozen adjusters right? How bad does it drive, and how far from work do you have to drive it home?

Yes, tried getting an alignment at Raben here locally. I have always good service at that location. Good rapport with staff. They have never struck me as "dildo brains."

I would like to fix the "seized cam kit." Per local Raben. Drives okay. Doesn't really pull one way or another. Seems like its eating the inside edge of both tires a lot faster than the rest though. The last 1.5 inches of tread on the interior edge. That may be common with lifts?
I drive 1 hour to work. 52-ish miles.

On my 250-ish mile Trek to @FirstGenVol I noticed tires wearing on edge upon arriving at meet-up point.

Do you still have your old struts assemblies? Maybe put those back in until your parts come in and your able to get it aligned. You can trash a set of tires pretty quick like that

Hmm. I didn't think of that. Worth a shot. I'll start on that tomorrow I guess. Unless something changes, and we have an extra vehicle come up.

Right now pop's Nissan is down. One of his tires is showing metal because he was lazy about replacement. All 4 need changing. The chevy is being driven by him, and moms truck is occupied.

Don’t let negative Neil bring you down! You do you!
Side note, you seem like a go getter; do they have Hvac/Reefer positions at your work? Maybe look into taking the EPA test to get certified and slowly work your way in, usually good money, and it sounds like you enjoy tinkering and figuring shit out and fixing it.

Thank you for the positivity. I feel like a basic white girl when I say "Thanks for sending g good vibes."

It actually does help. I was "interrogated" today for going to help @FirstGenVol on Monday.

Mainly it was "How much was the bumper? Where'd you go? How much did that cost?"

Heres how I'm running it through the dash. Real long zip tie wrapped around the end.

Someone used all my electrical tape after I got done with it for rear wiring harness. Will use masking tape.

My masking tape sucks, and this is happening tonight. Tired of my terrible cord management in the pass foot well.

Elected to wrap the new cord around existing wiring harness in a manner similar to the thin green line.

Blue circle is origin of high mount stoplight. I'm assuming the wire i have "traced" in blue is cargo light.

Taped center cab light, and high mount stop light harness to the heat shieled thing.

@Professional Hand Model, for your records, and to urge you to do this job.

The silver pieces had fallen down off the roof of the cab slightly. Pushed back into place, and original adhesive seems to hold it just fine.

Why 3 pin harness for front cab lights? Could I get the powered rear view? Not sure of the harness for that one.

    Any thoughts?

Mid-cab light only has two like I expected.

they'll fall again in the heat. Dynamat or similar on a roof makes a MASSIVE difference in outside noise getting in

constant power, ground, and the signal from the door switch.. hence 3 wires.

    Ah, forgot about signal wire.

Edit: you're right. They are already falling. Will get some sound mat eventually.

Might be one worth investigating for AC peeps.

This is the dome light in the center of the roofs. Remove the dome light with 2 Phillips screws, remove the switch arm, and lubricate ball. This is a trial picture, and was cleaned up before going back in. Do not be fooled by lack of "ON" operation when the dome light is out. The two mounting screws are the ground.

I'll admit, it had me fooled for a minute.

yup. can find them dirt cheap all the time. if its just a dimming mirror with a compass, its 2 wires. accessory power and ground, if it has homelink, its accessory power, ground and constant power

I like Nexar brand dash cams. Mine is the beam.

Records travel log, speed, audio in cab if you want, and is on all the time when key is on.
Connects to your phone through an app. No need to mess with SD cards if you don't want.
Only downside for me is that the clips you can make are at maximum 4 minutes long.

I would have T-tapped in, but I wasn't sure of power requirements so I went with this route. I tried googling PR, and on Nexars website. No luck. Went with this the fuse block kit.

I didn't want to burn up my fancy camera
