They make a thing called a d'versibit. It's a 6' long flexible drill bit that I'm betting you could squeeze in there. Maybe you could redneck something up out of it?

And with all this talk of toyota/lexus SUVs, is there a list or page of all the SUVs that have lexus counterparts? Or one that has a what's what deal? I don't know how to ask what I'm asking.

    5th gen 4runner with supercharger!

    Toyota 1GR engine tuning
    1GR-FE Supercharger
TRD Company produces supercharger kits designed out of the Eaton M90 supercharger with intercooler, ECU and all other aftermarket parts, specially for the GR engines.
In order everything to work appropriately, you need to lower compression ratio. To do this, you need to buy a thick cylinder head gasket or forged CP Pistons fitted to 9.2 and Carrillo connecting rods. Besides, you may need a TRD inlet system and 3-1 design headers kit. When these performance parts bolted on your 1GR single VVTi, the engine will develop 300-320 horsepower and torque will be 450-500 Nm.
Apart from the TRD supercharger kit, you will be able to find the other, more powerful solution. Doing port and polish, you will get more than 350 horsepower. The TRD supercharger kit is the simplest, not a too much loading engine.

I was replacing the UCA so yeah I did swing the spindle out. I didn't disconnect the brakes, but did unscrew the ABS line from off the UCA. I do remember having to maneuver it just right to fit the clamp.

So the sequoia doesn't have a direct equivalent, right? And the difference in those 2 groups is just generations? The top is land cruisers?

Sequoia is based on Tundra, no Lexus alternative.

The top is definitely the LC's and yes, different generations. LX450 is the FJ80 which is the first Lexus model of the LC. The 300 series should be out soon.

Lastly, the 4runner is NOT a direct GX470/460. They do share a lot of similarities but the GX series is based on the Land Cruiser Prado (not sold in the US). The 4runner shares some bits but the GX is superior to the 4runner.

I tried to keep the camera angle the same as possible for both pics.
I didn't do a very good job at that

4th Gen 4runner and GX470 share the same chassis and in the case of the V8 4Runner, the same engine. They both share much with the Prado, but have significant differences too.

The GX460 has a timing chain vs the 470 having the belt. Correct?

Yes, the 470 uses the same 4.7 in our trucks, while the 460 uses the updated 4.6 engine that also goes in the 2nd/3rd gen Tundras...

Decided it best to wear an undershirt so you guys wouldn't have to look at my plumbers crack today. I haven't watched any of the videos so I'm not sure how well it worked, or if it was worth the extra heat.

Weather says feels like 90°F with 70% humidity.

The gx and Prado are same lc120s just difference in the aspect where the lc is different than the lx (lc100s)

The 4runner is the one that does share similarities but not the same.

Yes. For door seam all it took was removing the top 10 mm bolt in the door hinge area. Bent the tab towards rear of cab slightly. Tightened bolts back up.

    Real nice.

For the hood seam I loosened all 3 bolts on top of the fender, pushed in, and tightened back down.

Not sure. The more I think about it the less I want to do it. I’d hate for a bolt to snap and then I just caused a problem to fix. On hold for now. I’m starting to investigate the FSM hard and need to find the gas tank dropping for fuel pump replace which was my reason for doing bed removal, but the tank still needs dropping even with bed off.

Now, let me ask a question regarding my bed.

The surface rust on it I will remedy. Would it be worth my time to buy rust-oleum bed liner, and go that route?

Or just paint it, and put my plastic liner over it?

Either way, the plastic liner is going back in. Not sure what the pros would recommend.

Also, I can't remember what was recco'd for running boards.

I used the Rustoleum Bed Liner on both the bed and rails and running boards. Proper prep is key. Even put a coat of Bed Liner on the Bed Liner.

Washed the topside with a stiff brush and soapy water. Let dry and spray.

My boss just called. I go back to work Monday night.

Any advice on getting a second alignment opinion?

I'm not sure going back Monday if that would be enough time to do a front end re-build since its my first time.

Found some good FSM data for our engines. Discovered that my Old MAF Sensor was out of spec, too. Looks like there is Fuel Injector Spec here, as well, so I’ll test my old ones tomorrow.
