The maf on these trucks are sensitive. I opted to pay extra for the Jet maf, even if it only gives 1mpg improvement I'll take it.
On my 01 Tundra it seems like the combination of jet maf and aem dry filter had more of an improvement in performance than same combo on 05. No real data to back that up but the 01 had 35x12.5 tires and I was averaging over 15 mpg. I drive the local highway quite a bit over 80 mph

We could go on and on. I could go on a dumb rant blah blah. Get kicked off for stating the obvious of what most people think, but we sit here and take the spoiled temper tantrums. Thats it for me. Maybe you gun guys can dance around the topic too? Or Hoopty can go full Napalm in the morning? How did he get a pass on that? Glad he did, but jus’ sayin’!

I've come close to opening my mouth a few more times but out of an abundance of respect to many members I just try to keep the napalm on the shelf.

But it keeps talking to me

Yeah same here. Its not worth it. Sad thing is losing family members and friends over all this made up crap. They are the ones cutting off relationships. They (out of nowhere) spout off all their Slogans and Chants and Dog Whistles and then tell me I can’t say anything back because...

Its like I’m minding my own business and they make a big issue and push all their crap down my throat and I’m just going to sit there and take it.:rofl:

Never thought we’d be in this kind of shape as a Nation. :annoyed:

Ain't that the truth brother. I tell people that red & blue, republican & democrat, black & white, and everything in between is designed to keep a nation of free people divided. Read the pledge of allegiance, One nation under God, INDIVISIBLE with liberty and justice for all. As a divided nation, we have lost so much.
I am not perfect but I at least understand and try to remind myself of this. That is why I will sit and break bread with any and all kinds of people.

Let me know if anyone comes across a race other than HUMAN on this planet... only man can divide us into groups... I really want to try these injectors, can someone produce a video for DIY installation - please?

In all honesty, it's not that bad of job to pull off in a couple of hours. Take a look around the top of each side and you can see there isn't too much in the way

That's cool, but I guess I am looking for a step by step sequence that I can reverse so it all goes back together correctly.

Take the pics and look under the hood, you can see exactly what is what. It's a bit easier on the non vvti engines, I think there are a few less crappy thingy in the way

Take your own pictures and video as you go along. Write steps down. Only instructional I had was what Keith told me over the phone when I bought them. The main take away from him was don’t lose the banjo bolt washers! I had to figure out all the rest on my own. At least you have a diagram.

Exactly what I got from Keith also, I just winged it and took my time. The drivers side was a bit frustrating, the damn injectors kept falling out as I wrestled getting the rail back in place

Yeah. Next time I’d start on the Pass Side as its so much easier. The Driver Side is a little difficult. 3.5 hours on the Driver and 2 hours on the Pass Side for me.

    5.5 Total Hours.

    Ouch.

I really took my time. Took a few Hand Model Poses in between. It was cold that day and I needed hot rock treatments on the Hands for a few days after. I did recover, though.

I don't have access to a garage or secure location, so I would need to knock it out as quick as possible. I appreciate the comments though.

I did mine outside even though I have a great little garage to stage from. You don’t need many tools. I’d set up a little work table for tools to rest and a 4’ ladder or step stool for stepping up for leverage even if you are tall. You got this.

@Rex Kramer i did mine outside under the shady mesquite tree, I started in the morning and finished by noon. My only snag was one injector connector prong slightly bent, not allowing the female plug to seat and hear that sweet sweet clack/click when they meet perfectly. Other than that it’s pretty easy

I feel confident in his wrench turning abilities, sometimes you just need to be pushed into the water
