Thats the idea. Most used frames I've found online are on the west coast.
An Idea I had for the future:
There are a few junkers with rear end damage, or side impacts. I had thought about finding a clean junker truck with rear end damge, cutting both frames in half, and welding my rear end onto a clean front end.

That Idea just doesn't sit well with me though. That would be a last resort type thing.

@Tundra2 that frame recall applies ONLY to the rear crossmember being rotted out. They won't care if the holes are in the front section because it's outside of the covered area.
The whole recall letter is here https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2009/RCRIT-09V444-9080.pdf

Here's the relevant text from that recall notice.

Don't do that. I'm a journeyman welder and even I wouldn't attempt that. There's too much potential for failure and disaster, especially if you don't have the experience to lay down high quality welds. I've repaired a few truck frames in my day and it's a seriously involved process to do it right and legal. I also wasn't chopping a frame in half and welding on a replacement, just repairing cracks or adding on small sections at the rear for flat deck extensions. Cutting, prepping, rod selection (you aren't MIG welding this), root pass, inspection, fill pass, inspection, cap pass, inspection, grind down, inspection, fish plates, mag particle testing, sometimes x-ray testing, final inspection. You may be able to bypass some inspection depending on your local laws but I'd look into it.

Then there's the challenge of keeping the frame true and straight which will be tough, given the size and shape of a truck frame. Don't forget that as you put heat into the frame while welding, it'll want to pull out of alignment. If your frame ends up not perfectly straight, the rest of the truck will be thrown out of whack.

Honestly, it'll be less headache and effort to source a frame and take up @empty_lord on his offer to help you install it.

Ah, I see. Well then, I'll carry on with what I've got, and save to find/ship used frame.

Just weld a plate in, coat inside, watch for more. Chances are your frame has a couple years left which will leave you time to locate a new one and prepare it

you will need brake lines and likely lower control arms at the least to do the swap

Well, followed @Professional Hand Model's idea.

Jacked up front of truck, and removed front left wheel for better access to frame. Tapped on frame with a hammer, and heard scale fall inside the frame to roughly 10 inches forward of strut area. Hosed a LOT of gunk out. Here are pics of my catch carpet. I didnt think to catch remnants until halfway through the job. 20200622_114052.jpg
This big chunks here are just about the same size as the chunk I had in my hand the other day.
    20200622_114042.jpg
Little remnants from between cross member, and wheel well areas.

The most annoying thing in the world is people saying " you cant get enough protein on a vegan diet " the reason its annoying is because its not true, AND should not be the main arguement against going vegan. It shouldnt be about protein. It should the fact that meat is waaayyy more nutrient dense AND bio available then any plant out there. Plants dont have vitamins-k, b12,d, f ,k2,b6 (pyrodoxamine), heme iron, taurine, creatine etc. It is also a man made diet and is not good for the planet whatsoever. Thats the annoying part of the "pRoTeIn" on BOTH sides. Looking at a vegan day of eating on youtube is absolutely ridiculous as they eat like children and have to eat massive amounts of food.

Sorry i know I'm posting a lot of anti vegan crap. But pleaaaaseeee stop eating fake meat. That shit will clog your arteries so fast mr phm... they have to put a bunch of cheap seed oils in that "meat" to replicate real healthy fatty meat. Seriously man you are doing the complete opposite of what you think your doing for your health...that shit is filled with omega 6 fatty acids ( bad for you). Whereas real grassfed ethical meat like beef, lamb, or even fish is loaded with everything you need to survive. No offense phm, but dont let the ms phm suck you into the new trendy cute food trends. I would rather have you smoke a cig once a day then eat that plant based crap.

The gas is from undigested plant matter due to the presents of anti nutrients in the plants

Pictures will come once it’s offical. But as of now it sounds like it’s mine. 312k miles, frames gone, body looks good, it’s a prerunner, so only 4x2, but I have all the parts to make it 4x4

What website do you guys use to search junkyards? I'd like to find GX460 calipers.

Also, this little hose is starting to rot but Toyota doesn't sell it separate.
