I've got 20x10 -18 and the amount of work I had to put in to not rub was insane. And multiple times I thought I won.. and it started all over.

Why exactly do you think you'll have more options on your next tire with a 10 inch rim? Like mentioned above you're gonna end up with a lot more work trying to fix rubbing issues. If you look at my post above #2022 I got 35s on an 8.5 inch wheel and have zero rubbing issues on a 3 inch lift.

Edit: Forgot to mention I went from 285/65s to the 35s my past swap.

So before I go and install my 3/2 ready lift in the my 2020 tundra. Just wondering if anyone has a similar set up. 3/2 lift with 18x9 rims with 20mm offset and LT285/75R18 duratracs. Ready lifts website recommended the tire size but mentions nothing about rim offset.

 

18x9 +20 fuel shoks on 285/75/18 ridge grapplers. Bilstein 6112 on 2.5 setting.

 

Any issues like rubbing ?

 

I did a cmc before I put the tires on, it did rub the front plastic liner after. I chopped some off, all good now

I totally removed inner fenders do to rubbing, but no big deal!!

Anyone running the Relation Race Wheels RR6-H? I have searched here, google, Facebook and more but cannot find any photos other than a couple on their website on a truck with fiberglass fenders. Thanks in advance!

 

Rough Country 1.5 Level kit. Faulkin Rubitrek 275/70/18 on Tirerack Oasis 5 Lug 18X8 wheels with +45mm backspacing. Exactly the look I was wanting. Just a tad outside the fending well.

 

A bit delayed but got it done. Just gotta do. A bit more trimming on the front plastics.

So I ended up with 20X10 -18 and now it’s time to tackle the rubbing issue. Can you elaborate on what you learned and what my best course of action should be?

 

I just removed the hole inside fender to fix the problem

 

Guess the first thing is what size tires are you running?
But if 33+ you will need a bmc. And when you do it make sure its healthy. Like take the plastics out of the wheel well hammer down your pinch welds then do the Bmc. If you remove everything you can cut out another half inch than if you leave it all on. You will need bumper shims to push bumper forward and still might need to cut some front plastic.

Yes but he is only a 2-3 inch lift if I remember correctly. And he is 10 wide. We have 7 and 9 inch lifts lol

Method Grid 18x9 in Matte Black on stock Michelin LTX AT2 tires. Also swapped out the faux bead lock bolts to the black kit that Method sells.

 

I am basically going for the same sizes. What offset did you have on this?

 

Need a little in here. Anyone go from 35x12.5s to 325/65/18?

was there much of a difference? I need new tires and I’m having trouble finding BFG ATs in 35.

 

Just threw these bad boys on!

Fox 2.0 Coilover 2" lift up front. 1" Readylift block with Fox 2.0 in the rear. Probably going to go 1" more in the front or remove the rear block.

No trimming needed, only had to remove the front splash trim held on by 2-10mm.

It was like in between 1 and 2 inches outside fenders and 0 offset

 

2018 Tundra, Rough Country Leveling kit 3" front 1" rear, XD811 20x9 wheels with +30 offset, Toyo Open Country A/T II 295/60/20 with .5" bumper shims. Took front small flap off but no rubbing or trimming.

TIRES: Cooper AT3 XLTs in 285/75/18

Front Bilstein 6112s set at the third setting up (1.9")
Rear 5160 with Coachman 1" shackles.
