I think I'm about to place an order on Bilsteinlifts.com unless I can find the lift kit cheaper which I dont think I will (been shopping for it for some time), and was wondering if anyone had any good or bad experience when ordering from them?

Have you tried Shock Surplus.com? They were the cheapest I found on my recent Bilstein purchase.

@Tundra234 DUDE!!!!!! THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!! I seriously cant wait to get them. And yeah I did use the discount code but getting it a little cheaper through Bilsteinlifts.com with free shipping. They got a sale going right now so will probably go through them. As far as install I'm gonna have a shop install them as I dont have time with work, or to have my pop's help me out along with HOA getting pissed at me doing work in the driveway

I installed the bilstein 5100 set at 2in height along with SPC UCAs on my 2017 and revtek diff kit. With 44000 miles on the setup! No issues and a comfortable ride.

Very jealous of the Aluma series. Amazing shocks.

Yeah it is an awesome setup. I switched after running a Readylift spacer kit for a year and a half. I run the Boss resis in the rear along with Toytec shackles set at 1.5 and a 1/2 axle shim.

@Tundra234 Did you HAVE to run the axle shim? Did you go any higher or around same height as you were with the spacer?

With the Readylift 3/2 I was a tad higher in the rear end. I have a 4.6 and with the Alumas I came up a little more in the front. I removed the 2 inch block and replaced it with the shackles and the axle.shim to keep the 2 inches. Since the Alumas came up in the front, now I sit dead level. From the bottom of the flares to the ground, I am right at 41.5 on all four corners.

The installation was completed in late 2017. I did install the shocks and UCAS. I had the Revtek diff kit installed later.

@Tundra234 Trying to decide whether I want to get the complete kit on Toytec or buy separately since I want CB shackles but dont know what size to get and debating on the BOSS with the rear resi or the new aluma rear 2.0's that toytec just came out with. Would there be any real difference in the rear since both are 2.0?

On the front coilovers, the Alumas come in 2.0 and 2.5. Mine are the 2.5's. They are a little thicker shaft and shock body and both are 700 lb springs. I have the Boss with the resis on the rear as they are for 1-3 inches of lift. Those rear 2.0's are new within the last couple of weeks and also for a 1-3 inch. If you are going with the 2.0 coilovers ( I think those are new as well) either rear setup will be fine. As for shackles, the Toytecs are beefy. It comes down to personal preference and what size lift you are doing in the rear. I run mine at 1.5 along with the 1/2 inch axle shim and I am dead level. As for the UCA's, I highly recommend the SPC's. Sparks part is the cheapest that I have seen them at $545.00 Are you doing the install yourself to save on labor?

I did come up a little higher in the front and used the axle shim to keep me level. Part of being higher in the front is also contributed to being 2WD and a 4.6. Here is a side shot.

@Tundra234 Gotcha, yeah up until earlier in the week I was gonna go with exact same set up as you but love the new look of the Aluma 2.0 REAR shocks. I have been dead set on the 2.5 coils for months now but wasnt quite sold on which shock for the rear, either the older boss with resi or just the new 2.0. And it was nothing against the shackles especially cause I can go at 1 to 1.5" and I'm wanting to be dead level like you with my rig, but one of our members created a video on youtube and talked about the Toytec and CB shackles, and CB being better and easier to install. As far as install I do and did want to install all myself with my pop's for a fathers day weekend project but he doesnt have that much time on the weekend and neither do and with neither of us ever doing something like this I'm sure it would take a while to do a full install all the way around with no interuption (wife and kids). So already landed a shop and a tech who is pretty well known and well versed in this field especially for his SEMA builds so shouldnt be an issue for him and with a damn good price. For the UCA's I will be getting some Camburg ball joints at around 570.

Yes I did. I ran them right out of the box for about 5 years and then decided to get them done in Line-X Premium. My bumpers are the same.

You will be good to go with the 2.0 coils and those 2.0 shocks, and they will be $100 cheaper. The biggest problem I had with installing the shackles was having to lower the exhaust bc its custom and I was hitting the leaf springs during install. I used a ball joint press and an impact wrench to push the bushings out.

Been debating on doing it but think I will now seeing it on yours, I've ran them stock since I got them back in 15 but want to change it up. Bumpers I plasti dipped cause I hate chrome with a huge passion, but will be upgrading my bumpers probably next year that are already that rough powder coat so kinda wanted to match with that look, and then will probably line x the bed caps too just cause they give off that itchy fiberglass crap

@Tundra234 I have no problem running the rear resi just thought the 2.0 was cleaner. Is there a specific reason I should run 2.0 coils instead of the 2.5's like you?

Money isnt an issue between the 2.0 and 2.5 just again trying to decide on the rear, and the shackles cause apparently CB shackles are super easy to install.
