For some reason your new posts I can't see the pictures. I see a sign that looks like the "Do not enter" round sign with white middle across.

hmm....not really sure why they would do that. I usually just copy over from my google photos drive and it works fine.
    Anyone else having that problem?

not to hijack danimal's thread but, i'm running 125 to each door. running new speaker wire really wasn't that difficult. compared to everything else, it's the easiest part. you'll need to drill a hole below the factory harness for the rear doors. start small and gradually go larger. keep an eye on the wire loom that runs down the pillar as you're making the hole. fish the wire through and seal it up with some silicone.

So, after the door snafu what have you decided sounded better, AF's or C5? I am considering making some changes to my system myself...

Some changes in the bass department.

Today I sold the JL Stealthbox and placed an order with james for two 10tw3's (same model speaker as the Stealthbox) in a ported enclosure. I felt like I just wanted a little more and after talking with James, he said they sound a lot better in a ported enclosure. I could have pulled the speakers out of the Stealthbox, but that would be a shame to waste that fiberglass box.

On the ride home I missed them so much.
    It was a good run:

Didn't james build a box recently that holds 3 of those subs for a 3rd gen crew max?

dont think so, i asked him about 3 and he said no-go.

edit: that could have been when i was asking him about the 13.5tw5's...i just emailed him about it.

editX2: just heard back. He said he did make one on a sealed box, but he said it was a pain in the ass and 2 in a ported was louder.

Ok, good to know. What did he say about 2 of the 13.5 in a ported box? Is their not enough volume?

He said there isnt enough air volume to put three of the tw3 in a ported.
when i was spitballing with him about replacing the stealthbox, i asked him about the two of the 13.5s and he said he thought they sounded like crap and he liked the tw3s in a ported box better

The 10tw3's and box should be here tomorrow. I bought a 10sqft box of sound deadening and it was enough to cover most of the back. The subs are ready to go in!

When fed ex delivered mine yesterday, i was shocked with how small the box was.....for a split second, i thought "do i have to assemble this mf'er?"
Did you just run a wire around the back of the box to connect the two together?

I really like the audiofrog's. They are butter smooth sounding! dollar-for-dollar i would go for the audio frog over the C5's. C5's highs are extremely sharp and the audio frogs are warm (best way i can describe it)

I got the delivery of the new box and subs yesterday. Got it all unboxed and assembled yesterday.

These are dual 8-ohm speakers, so i wired them up to be 2-ohm
    IMG_20200430_151839.jpg

After a little bit of adjusting the box left to right to make sure it was centered.....she's home!
    IMG_20200430_153450.jpg

I took it for a little bit of a drive yesterday and tested them out. The box really livened these things up. Its almost violent! My rear view mirror and radar detector were dancing all over the place. The stealthbox definitely had a more crisp and refined sound, but was lacking a bit of punch when it came to heavy bass songs. This thing is a monster!

I drilled a hole through baffle in the middle and connected them internally.

I thought about doing this too. I figured if he wanted it that way he would have pre drilled a hole.

I think it will. They all have the same cable connectors.
