For those of you who have installed a CB radio in your gen 3 Tundra, where did you have your coax cable enter the cab? I pulled off the rocker panel trim on the drivers side front door and rear door (double cab) and couldnt find any plugged/grommeted holes. The best I could find was routing it through the firewall, but I have the radio in my center console, and would like to go under the carpet if possible.

There is a plug on the passenger side front door , look at the frame rail from the middle of the truck. It is right ontop of the frame rail. Hope this makes sense.

Are you running the antenna at the rear or front of the truck?

Depends on where your antenna is...

Mine are mounted to my truck box so I pulled one of the bed caps and cab caps then ran it up along the edge of my headliner. My radio is overhead.

There's a grommet under the truck, behind the front passenger seat. For some reason it's very difficult to see but it's bigger than a silver dollar.

On the back eventually, most likely it will be mounted in the driver's side front stake pocket. Currently I have a magnetic one on the roof but am not a fan.

Once you remove that grommet, potentially with water crossing, won’t the water get into the truck with that grommet missing?

I drilled a hole then sliced the grommet and reinstalled with a silicone sealant.
