33x12.5 or 35x12.5?

I have a 2010 tundra with a 3/1 level kit and I bought 18x9 ballistic jesters with +12mm. But which tire should I go with 33x12.5 or 35x12.5......any suggestion would be great guys let's hear them

35s for sure. Here's the same set-up

 

35 will look sweet, but with 12 mm offset, you may have to do the body mount mod. But then again, you may not. Each truck is somewhat different. I have 18 mm offset with 295/70/18 (11.73 wide according to Nitto's web site) and I am very very close to the body mount.

 

What do you mean. By the body mount mods?

 

For large tires with low wheel offset, the rubbing typically occurs at the body mount (located toward the outer body of the truck). So the mod effectively cuts a portion of the mount so the tires will clear. Personally, this goes beyond what I wanted nor have the ability to do, so I went with 18 mm offset. Every truck is somewhat different, but anything lower, there's a certain chance you may have to do this mod. I knew going in that with 18 mm offset, 295/70/18 or 305/65/18 is just about the largest tire size I could go without having to do this mod.
