Winjet taillights

Just installed new winjet taillights on my tundra( plug and play). Both blinkers hyper flash. Anyway to fix this issue. Previously I installed Morimoto headlights on my tundra and everything was working correctly so I know it’s an issue with taillights

 

Yes, I'm not sure the size, but you need to add resistors to the wiring

Adding resisters will end the hyper flash.

 

If this is the driver for the LED lights. I got no paper work on adding a resistor. Web page never said anything bout adding a resistor with these taillights.

 

So I need to add a resistor into the factory wiring harness on the blinker side. Does it matter which wire.

Keep an eye out on those Winjets, I like how they look but there is a lot of issues with them. That's why I never purchased them.

So this includes with installing a full functional Led light assembly (except reverse light bulb).

 

Oddly enough I did not have to add resistors to my truck and I've got LEDs everywhere. When I went to Winjets the thing I did notice were the little LEDs on the side fell down and I went in there to find the LEDs and the circuit boards were held in place with hot glue. Pulled all that off, super glued then put back together. Problem solved. I have had zero issues since.

I do have LED replacements for the reverse lights as well.

Ok guys. Just sent my winjet taillights back. Gonna take a few days to get a refund. Need to know what’s out there. Looking for a slick looking light replacement with Full Led capability with no replacing bulbs. Don’t want to install resistor in factory harness either. Anything out there worth the money that fits the truck snug. Those winjet didn’t seat up to body of truck like Oem. Pic for attention and info you guys have any suggestions.

 

Don't get me wrong I love the look of the smoked ones, just wish the QC was a lot better.

Just proves QC is poor, he never came back or replied.
He still to this day has not replied to my email.

 

Talk about poor customer service. I just shipped mine back UPs ground. So hopefully in a few days I will see my refund.

This happened to me as well. I was going to throw them away and get new taillights. I fixed them instead and no problems.

I have a 2018 Sport and no hyperflash.

 

be careful with the resistors they can get really hot.

 

Never used mine lol

 

They only made one set of functional Winjet taillights, and they’re on my rear end.
