    Why did they not put these in factory?! This thing is great. I can’t quit climbing in and out of my truck now. So much nicer than grabbing the steering wheel!

    Me-3, Installed this afternoon. Parts took while from Megazip. They were on back order. Easy install, I had the bolt/washer and screw clip already on deck from the hardware store. My 2010 had it and liked it. My wife really likes it although she doesn't drive my Tundra often.

    Probably not since the Sequoia comes with it and I think(not 100% sure) they are the same A pillar and parts.

    Who cares... Its more convienent! haha I think it would be fine though. If it deploys you would just have a handle flying at your face possibly as well as the air bag.

    I changed out the bolt that they included with a shorter 1/4-20 bolt because I was scared the one they sent might hit the metal of the A pillar once it was tightened down...

    I read that it was taken out because during a crash test the dummies head hit the grab handle so they took it out to get a better crash test result .

    All I needed was a short 8mm-10 u-nut (@2.50) from local hardware store, for the bolt I used a leftover from the nerf bar install. That's it. Took 10 minutes total
