Hi, first post, new to the forum. I had some wiring issues with my 01 Tundra SR5 and a fuse box with a lot of corrosion. Possibly leaky windshield. Anyhow, I bought a brand new fuse box and I still had some things not working, like the blower and parking lights. Bought a used body wire harness. It had some extras, it may have been from a TRD which mine is not, but everything from my truck had a place to plug in. NOW it won't even start. I turn the key and the only thing that happens is the 4hi light blinks, no other dash lights no crank. The parking lights and blower work! I'm wondering if I have something connected wrong, or if just changing wiring may have set the security. The dealer didn't seem to think so. Of course then again all they said was to check the fuses:/. There are some connectors from the engine harness that would fit the fuse box in front where the green one goes, and there are two connectors that fit the ignition. I've tried all the various connections with these, and made sure I hadn't blown any fuses after.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a tough one. Hopefully, someone will come along and answer.

We’ve had a few come through here with a similar problem that started from a leak. Can you confirm the leak was from windshield or maybe the pillar gasket clips?

I can check the gasket and clips in the daylight tomorrow. I was assuming windshield because it has been changed, even though it was Safelite never can tell.

Safelite replaced my shield, but did not do any repairs to the gaskets. Repair Guy was cool and pointed it out to me said that they aren’t responsible for that. I ended up doing a repair to the pillar after he was finished.

Having never dealt with a wiring harness change, this thought might be easier said than done but I would remove used harness and put original back in. Then start troubleshooting again from that point with things that are not working.

Was everything working before the swap out? I'd take a look and see if anything else is corroded.
