1st. Toyota I've ever owned. 2019 Black Tundra SX. Been a GMC man for 40 years, but when General Motors closed the Oshawa Ontario plant I said that was it for me. We rented a 4 Runner last year when we flew down and I was impressed with the ride and how quite it was, went home and started looking at 2016's/17's and found that I could buy a new one for a bit more $. Like everything about it other than the LOW BEAMS they are junk, anybody change out the bulbs with something better\brighter. Just drove 1500km's down here from home and used 13.4 litres per 100 kilometers better than the advertised rate from Toyota. Thanks for the great site very informative.

Many just swap in stock LED headlights. Others put in LED bulbs. I am not a fan of that, beam pattern is always off. Simple option is to just put in better halogen bulbs, there are many options. Now if you have not looked it up....replacing bulbs in a 3rd gen Tundra is not the most pleasant experience. It is a bit more involved than the typical opening of the hood and replacing bulbs in the back of the light. You can either go thru the front fender lining or take of the grill and panel under the lights. There are videos out there that show how to do it....just takes some time.

Hi from Ontario here too, Fort Erie, when you get broken in a bit you’ll get little better mileage , I got 12.4l/100km on a trip to New Brunswick last summer.

The best update for your lights is to get the 2019 trd pro led lights, you should buy them while you are in the states cause they are quite a bit cheaper.
pick them up on your way home and save some money, no shipping or brokerage fees.

here is a link to those lights: https://www.tundras.com/threads/2019-tundra-trd-pro-parts.29476/

here is a link to all available parts: https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-oem-toyota-parts-thread.10707/

you will need a harness for these from @iHacker lots of guys have used his product: https://www.tundras.com/threads/201...for-2014-2020-models-v-2-0.24416/#post-592632

you will save a ton of money in canada the 2019 trd pro headlight is $487 CAN, in the states they are $284 USD, I think there is also a forum discount code also.

Some parts are way cheeper in the states I was looking for a set of led fog lights (2) for my wifes new 2019 highlander, they are $455 CAN but only 108$ USD!!

Sparks toyota (4855 US-501, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579, United States)is a vendor on this forum you can check in the official vendors list.

there is also Toyota of cool springs in Tennessee.

here is a video on how to install the lights and they also tested them compared to what you have:

    Have a good trip!

PS: it's minus 14C here and snowing like crazy!!
