Sadly the terminals are made in Japan, so finding them is rare. The old type 2 (the big pins on the main power wires for the radio) are easily attainable. It’s the small wires for all the accessories that are difficult/impossible to find.
If I can find enough in junkyards for get long pigtails it’s less of an issue. But the cars using the newer small pins are far and few between

I thought the tranny and trans case skids bolted to the cross member

I haven't even attempted to install mine yet because I need to straighten my cross member first. Now I guess I'll need to do a mock install just to check fitment. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah.......rusty randy wasn’t having it and it snapped off. Luckily I backed off the lock nut underneath, and I still had threads to get the bracket back on. Supposedly the local steeler has it. I would try the homer depot option of an eye bolt but I’m sure yota has a weird diameter eye and then the bushing wouldn’t fit

Hmm now I guess I'll be checking the hole on the oil pan skid. I believe it lined up though. I means there's only one right way and one wrong way right?

Edit: v6 ok that makes sense

You should be good to go. Its basically because I have the V6 manual transmission. But luckily I found a way to bolt up the Transfer case skid. I just gotta drill a few holes tomorrow and should be just fine. The transmission skid however I will be returning. With the way the cross member is, its awkward to mount it, and not worth my time to try to make that one work. But they said theyd give me a full refund for that skid and cover shipping both ways. So atleast I got 3 out of their 4 skids installed

Oh and as far as the oil pan skid not being directly underneath the oil drain plug, im just gonna install a fumoto valve with nipple and run tubing out of the hole in the skid. And now the fumoto is pretty protected as well. I hope it all works!

If you remove the flares, let me know if you want to sell them. Just put spacers on my ride and the tires stick out enough to bug me.

I installed my front braided brake lines. Flushed the fronts.

First test drive the pedal feel is improved. (I didn’t think mine was bad, it’s better now) Probably 70/30 fresh fluid/brake lines.

I find the Chinese factories have no shame in replicating foreign designs - cars, appliances, plugs, caps, wire terminals....

Did seafoam in the booster tube while it wasn't running and then started if for a minute. I then put the rest of the can in with 1/4 tank of gas. I took my copilot over to get some french toast sticks and get a halfa$$ touchless carwash. The truck feels stronger and drives better already. We even had a little fun on a couple areas with a little frost left on the road. Seems like I'm chirping tires more than usual. Maybe that's the extra throttle response and maybe that's my foot having fun with the stronger bottom end either way I'm probably not going to calculate this tanks mpg.
I also retreated to the garage after a heated debate over wanting to retrofit another set of headlights with demon eyes. I guess my wife thinks she's the only one in the house that can buy useless stuff. Haha if she only knew. Anyway I touched up my sliders and went crazy with the touch up paint on all my minor blemishes. No more fighting and a better looking truck. A positive feedback loop of constructive behavior!

This things been one of my best purchases. Yes it’s cost me what it’s worth but for that cost I’ve got effectively a new truck with a damn near whole new suspension. Interiors going to be nicely sorted hopefully by spring. Can’t find one this nice

Yo. How much was that tranmission skid? I have a proposition. What if I buy it and skid row covers shipping? They win because they only lose on shipping instead of also having to refund you. You come out the same either way...
