    Yes it is because of the the bracket being thick it makes it stick up

    It could just be their design. I think some are more low profile, but tag @brimy311 and see what he says.

    Did you install the bracket between the hinge and the hood?

    My Rago brackets (and others) mount under the hinge (so the hinge still contacts the hood). The brackets should not raise the hood at all.

    I ordered mine from them when they first came out and they had the installation video up for their release. Looks good though, glad that you were able to get it corrected

    I used a fish tape to run the wires from the passenger to the driver side through the hood - there are holes on both sides near the windshield. I also installed a rubber grommet.

    run under the cowl hood. they barely connect to each other. Like you found out.

    yep. they fit but you gotta route them properly. Not much slack left when connected.
