    Outstanding!

Hopefully Harrop will have a more complete installation manual since several folks are asking the same questions.

Would love to hear your recommendations on how they can improve the installation process.

    Awesome job.

Update on my magnuson. Data is saying injectors are maxed, but magnuson is adamant that the supplied injectors are sufficient. What we haven’t been able to get a clear answer on is what size where the injectors that came with the magnuson ffv kit, and what size are the stock ffv. Anyone have that data? I’m likely going to upgrade the fuel rail and injectors this month.

I could be wrong (my Magnuson won't be installed for about a month), but on the FFV trucks the injectors are not replaced, we use the factory injectors. I don't know what size they stock FFV injectors are - maybe someone else has that data.

Jeff is the one that I'll be going through for the install. Did you ever see their supercharged TRD Pro Sequoia they built a while back?

Yes I did! You should be happy with your SC. If you are going through him I assume your doing the Magnuson and not the Harrop

Correct, I'm planning to do the Magnuson with the bully dog tune it comes with, then later on move to an OV tune.

I'm planning to connect with Jeff again the end of this month after I return from a trip to get the ball rolling.

What gains did you see after going from the trd tune to the dap tune. Which one do you think gives you more longevity.

never dyno'd the truck but I can tell you that the TRD flash is super conservative since it was covered by warranty. When I had it DAP tuned he still went conservative due to my fuel pump maxing out. He said he could have went more with it still being conservative if I had a larger pump. Either way it felt WAY better right off the bat. More responsive and smoother shifts spinning 35's like nothing.

Some interesting things to know about this kit if you have a 2018+ Tundra.

With the "Stage 1" setup, you do not need larger fuel injectors. Also, Harrop states "No calibration required" if the kit is installed completely, without any added modifications (Headers/smaller pulley).

There is a modification made during the installation to the fuel regulator to increase fuel pressure.

Stage 2, you'll get a 80mm pulley, replacement fuel injectors, and you'll need custom tuning.

I just drove it home from the performance shop, man, it runs like butter, and effortless power!

I am doing custom remote Dyno tuning with OV, to get all the features and optimized performance.

    Anyway, more videos

Yes! But somewhat quieter. Getting on the freeway, you can definitely hear it. I'm being pretty gentle for now.

How much boost are you running? Are you monitoring afr? I don't know if I'd trust just throwing boost up and over riding the regulator, hell I didn't trust the magnuson with a tune and oversized pump and injectors lol

6 to 7lbs. I'm data logging with OV. I'm currently at stage 1, which includes the replacement fuel pump. The fuel regulator for 2018, 2019 and 2020 is "modified" during installation for higher pressure. When I move up to stage 2, I'll install the larger injectors(I already have in my garage) and 80mm pulley, including a OV remote Dyno tune (93 octane).

The truck runs really strong with the stock tune, but this week, I loaded my base tune from OV, now logging for revisions.

I tow my Airstream quite a bit, so the tuning will be focused towards that.

I already proved to myself that the 35s will indeed spin while going from 30mph to 65 when I mashed it. :curls:

Are you talking about the fuel pump? As in you replaced the fuel pump? Im assuming you are non flex fuel. The Flex Fuel installation manual does not recommend replacing the fuel pump for the Magnuson, so mine was not replaced.

Question to anyone and everyone, is this something yall are doing routinely. Specifically, if you are supercharging your Flex Fuel Tundra with the Magnuson, are you upgrading the fuel pump?

I'm not supercharged yet, but will be very soon. I'm also flex fuel. Everything I've heard says we don't need to change the fuel pump or injectors with the magnuson. Non flex fuel will require them to be swapped when installing though.

Correct, I'm not flex fuel. I also got a used supercharger and it didn't come with the pump, so I got the largest "bolt in" option which was the Aeromotive 340 to have some "extra" margin for fuel delivery.

Right about the fuel pump. But our injectors and spark plugs are replaced. Here's the table of contents for the 2010+ Flex Fuel Magnuson Supercharger Tundra install instructions.

Right. I've had a look at the differences in install between Flex Fuel and Non FF. The non FF install includes a fuel pump replacement, whereas the FF install does not. Just wanted to be sure I wasnt missing something and the FF guys were gettin' gains from a fuel pump replacement
