What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

ESP under seat storage!

 

I was under the impression that the ESP storage wouldn't work with the 2020s. Any issues?

 

Nope, nothing at all. Just had to be careful in the center section.

I was told I couldn’t do this in my 2020 Platinum due to wiring for smart key entry, did you come across anything like that???...thanks in advance!

 

Do you get more of the exhaust noise in the cabin???

If you look in the center compartment in the cut out picture, you will notice the smart key module. I just cut up to the module and then cut a couple of score lines above the module. Instead of cutting all the way down to the module, i broke the foam above it and then cleaned up the line.

 

I have it set up to just come on when the truck is on. If you are wanting them to be tied directly to your headlights, i cant really help you with that. Its a super simple install as it comes, and they come on when you turn on the engine.

 

I wired mine to the parking lamp in the driver side headlight.

They look great! Been thinking of doing the same. Can you tell me how you did it? Did you drop your truck off and they did the dismount, prep, and PC?

or did you have to jack up your truck, pull the T and W, have a tire shop dismount, and then have your truck on jack stands While the PC shop did the work??

 

What exactly is this upgrade. Can you provide a link?

Shamelessly stole this mod from some other guys on the forum. TRD Tacoma shift knob with TRD boot. Goes really well with all the red and black accents of the TRD Pro

 

Nice, now just get the red TRD vinyl decal for the shifter.
