My trucks still thawing out so I'm not sure if that something to do with the taillights working at all. So now I'm getting a little juice to the tail light wire that's consistent but it's not enough juice to turn the tail lights on but it's enough for my little tester to be dimly on. I still haven't pinpoint it being a ground yet because it works fine when I give it juice off of s different source.

I located the plug and pin where the tails plug into under the drivers side of the dash. I might just run a new wire for the tails and plate lights if I can't locate the damaged wire

Yes at plug I am, but at the tail light end I am not. I couldn't find my good multi meter or I would of done further testing. I'll most likely do this when it warms up or when I get time for now its rigged back to the trailer plug luckily that circuit is 30 amps.

Any luck? I’ve got a 2014 and today the front left running light and blinker stopped working. Tonight I notice I’ve got no tail lights or front running lights.

The blinker circuits all work except front left.

    No fog lights.

I just noticed mu CEL is lit and traction control is off as well. This is new after I started messing with fuses though.

Sooo I originally replaced the TURN-HAZ 15A fuse under the hood.

Finally found the insanely hidden fuse box under the left driver dash and found that TAIL 15A was also blown. I’m back in business. Just need to replace the front left blinker/running light.

For the record I think I started with just a burnt out blinker filament front left.

I only had an LED tail light style bulb that I believe blew both my fuses.

However, its strane that it caused the exact same problem/symptoms the OP has. If I were him I would concentrate my efforts around the hidden fuse box and see if one of the connectors there was pushed through or if there is a broken wire.

On the other hand, I have no idea why my traction control is OFF and my CEL is on.

The TC is off because the CEL is on, it's Toyota/Lexus default behavior. Figure out the CEL and the TC will come back on.

I'm glad you figured yours out.
I've tested and located the tail light fuse wire it does get power to the wire, but I have not followed it all the way down the truck to figure out where it is messed up. I've got it wires to my trailer plug for now and it works I'll get around to it eventually to run a whole new wire for the tailights.
I would discounted the battery for 5 to 10 min it'll clear the code. Unless you want to get the coswa read.

I’ve got the reader and toyota software but my pc laptop is at work.

Code cleared on its on after the fourth or fifth start.

So... somewhere I’ve got the wiring diagram for the entire truck. Let me dig around in the next few days and see if I can make heads and tails of it. Maybe theres another break in the line between the fusebox and the tail light that would be suspect. At the least I can probably find the wire colors.

I seriously doubt that fuse feeds the lights directly. If so its splitting to the fogs, and all the running lights. Ill bet it feeds a something else.

Ill dig through the wiring diagram.

Yeah I figured out it feeds something related to the fogs when my fogs stopped working.
What I've deduced is that the tail light fuse controls something in the fogs, running lights in the tails, and the license plate lights.
I guarantee it splits somewhere I just gotta find it these new trucks have so much wiring lol.
It's a penny corrosion green colored wire.

What about the main switch that activates The lights, parking lights, fog lights etc on the column?

I recently had an issue with my map lights doing the same thing no juice going to it fuse was good everything worked fine on that circuit but the driver map light it turned out to be the little white switch and it which was a mother to find and purchase.

I had the same problem on my 2000 Tundra. Then my battery took a crap. Put a new battery in and bam, they worked.

    Any update on the issue?

I have the same issue. ALL my lights worked then I was messing with my front left parking light that was out. It had a connection barb that wasn't connecting anymore so I pull it out of my head light, fixed the metal piece and put it back in the headlight. Got it to turn on again but then I noticed my fog, license and running tail lights wont work at all any more. Ive tested all my fuses twice and replaced the brake light switch under the drivers side dash. Still no luck!

    Any suggestions??

What year tundra do you have?
I never figured out what was wrong with mine. I ended up wiring my tail lights to my trailer plug in to get it going for now been like that for a while now. My fogs went out too the fogs some how are controlled by the taillight fuse. I left the tailight fuse in and just wired the tails to the trailer plug.

I did determine that the taillights run on a green wire going from the fuse box in the dash all the way back but I never got around to finding where it was messed up.
My suggestion would be to check the harness where it goes above the spare tire that's the only spot I didnt look. Also check all your relays but none of that helped me I still dont know why it happened I just patched it for now.

For me I believe it's either a loose or corroded plugin somewhere or the wire has been damaged but hasn't broken all the way through yet. I'll probably never figure out what wrong with it but good luck on yours.

Switch back to stock and see if that makes a difference. Do you mean your taillight running lights or brake lights and blinker too?

I would revert back to stock since that is the most recent work you did it has something to do with those. Are they just a plug and play harness or are they a full head light?

What brand? Is this an ebay special? Just want to be clear that you checked the fuse box in the cab?

Might be the fuse too I'd check that also it's under the dash labeled tail. I never figured out what was wrong with mine.

I just noticed this evening that my tail lights were not on. I read through these posts and checked all fuses, connection...

I figured out that I did recently change brake lights to LED s. Switched the polarity on bulbs and resolved issue.

now I was driving home, my ABS and traction control light came on. after turning vehicle on and off twice, lights went off❓❓❓who knows. Maybe a fuse wiggled around and one of those gremlins fixed it.

Messing with the electrical without disconnecting the battery will do that sometimes its happened to me a few times. Specifically when I did the trailer brake. That's why usually on every video or instruction sheet it'll tell ya to unhook your battery. I never do but I've also blown my main computer fuse lol.
LEDs will do that mine is a wiring issue somewhere still running rigged up.
