What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

And...what do you think of it?

 

I've been kicking this idea around... Curious to know your insight

 

Before and after of the mods I’ve done since buying my limited. Immediately got rid of all chrome (except front bumper caps), windows tinted, just installed Bilstein 6112s up front at 1.9” and 5100s In back. Let me know what ya think! Next up is tires and wheels and dual exhaust.

 

Drivers side grab handle. I didn’t realize how much I used it in my Tacoma until I went without it.

Looks killer! What exhaust cans are those?

 

I installed Eibach ride height adjustable front shocks and Old Man Emu rear shocks on my 2016 Tundra today (actually 4 Wheel Parts did it for me). I set the height at 1.25" on the front and I got 1.5" on one side and 1.25" on drivers side. I now have about .750" of rake, which is very close to the new TRD Pros I measured at the local Toyota dealership lot.

 

It's just the TRD Pro Dual Exhaust with the tailpipes cut off, and turndowns put on. When I put on the SS Built rear bumper and cut off some of the rear of the truck having the tailpipes hanging down just looked silly.

Looks clean! I’ve been wanting to do this for clearance. How’s the sound difference from the original TRD? Any louder? How about the drone?

 

I thought it might turn out a bit louder, but with my windows down on the way home I actually felt like it was quieter. But, that's the trade off for the clearance. No change in drone thats appreciable. Honestly the truck kind of already draws too much attention, I'm ok with the exhaust not adding to that.

I also did something else today. I made a dumbass video of my truck. I got a drone for Christmas. This is footage from my second time ever flying it. I have no idea what Im doing. But it was good practice for learning to fly this damn thing. The video goes on for about 2 minutes too long. Sorry.

Nicely done. I love our flag. This version is done with class.
As such, I couldn't drag it thru dirt, rocks and gravel and just be abused in this location.

 

Just did the kicker key amp swap under seat.....well worth it..so loud now

I am interested in this mod, was it unplug the old, and plug the new? nothing special for a kick ass result?

 

I finally got a speedometer calibrator installed in the truck. The second time was cake compared to the first time. I bought one for sale on this site and it had wires loose on the main connector but the seller decided it was not like that when he shipped it. Spent weeks with PayPal, my Bank and staff on here but had to take a loss and move on. This was an expensive lesson but apparently someone else needed the money

No pictures but a fun time pulling the dash cluster out, not as bad of a job as it sounds... except for the pesky piece of fabric that clips to the cluster surround
