How many of you with RCI skids have installed a Fumoto valve? If you have not, do you remove the skid plate to drain the oil or have any issues with a mess when changing your oil?

The skid goes around where the pan drain bolt is, so it shouldn’t be in the way of the main pan.

I have the F103SX installed with an RCI skid. Works great. Even though the skid is shaped around the oil pan drain somewhat, I still got a too much oil dripping on top of the skid. You could probably get around it by rigging up a funnel.

I do use a piece of tubing with the Fumoto. I meant to say that prior to using the Fumoto, I would get oil all over the skid even though it's shaped around the drain bolt somewhat.
