The piece at the bottom that’s flat is suppose to be at the top of the hat

The machined end goes to the hat. The full coil goes to the bottom into the seat

There is no full coil end. both ends are machined. I have it installed logo up.

That spring honestly looks like a 2.5” king/icon spring. Those are the only ones I can think of that use the machined ends on both ends

So then what is wheelers using to assemble in-house? They don’t sell any spring that isn’t machined in both ends.

It’s the wheelers spring manufactured by eibach.

I would call them. I’m sure there’s a spring somewhere on there (I think the silver ebiachs

I was kinda worried that they wouldn’t work, but there weren’t any other options, and I knew they assembled could. Should’ve been more dilligent.

They are made for coilovers unfortunately, won't work for your application.

I thought Eibach sold a coilover thats was already assembled? Another member bought them. Were you just trying to save some money?

Yep, saved almost $100 by assembling myself, although now I didn’t. :annoyed:

I saw some that were zinc too. I'd imagine either one would hold up pretty well.

Since there's been a lot of exhaust talk lately I thought I'd toss out a system I like. Came on my modified car when I picked it up.
It has 2 Cherry Bombs in a row on a 3" pipe. Love the deep throaty idle & the growl when she takes off. But that system is on a 4cyl turbo, not sure how it'd work on the Tundra's 8. ...and she's aged out of emissions testing so that's not a consideration. I should find that video I took...

I love wheelers, but not their website...it sucks...and they have stuff not on there...you need these...they are not listed on Wheelers site but I bet they have them or can get them...see if they will do an exchange.

    https://eibach.com/us/i-7744-pro-lift-kit-springs-front-springs-only.html

I THINK these are for 4WD as well....but confirm with Eibach before contacting Wheelers...good luck...

That is a pretty cool design. They should use a lighter color paint for the pictures on their site. I didn't give their stuff a second thought because I just didn't notice the detail.

Ugh. It’s been a hell of a night.

I can’t get my old coilovers back in because it hits the upper control arm and won’t come low enough.

I'm hoping I can get some good pics over to them when my front bumper is done. They don't have many pics and they aren't the best what they do have so hoping I can help them with that. Have to do a good job getting it put together/photographed!

Problem is, there’s not really a good spot to pry from. I can put my entire body weight on the hub assembly and it doesn’t move.
